Hard to say, really from what I have seen on this board in my short time here is that the only people discrediting margarito are cotto fans.
The same question can be asked about mosley. Since he was found guilty of taking steroids should we assume he was on steroids against margarito as well? Maybe vargas? Mayorga?
It's really not a fare question to ask. For me I say no harm done in the cotto fight. I think most unbiased people will feel the same. But as far as his image and future yes indeed it has taken a big hit. But tito went through the same thing so did sugar and they bounced back quite fine so I expect margarito to do the same.
Now what happens to cotto in the summer? Obviously margarito might not be available to fight, unless cotto goes to mexico and there's just no reason for him to do that, although it would be a great feeling for him to get his revenge on margarito in front of his own people but not only will the fight be risky for him shit going to Tijuana alone is risky so very unlikely this happens. Maybe a cotto vs clottey in the summer since both belong to arum and no matter who wins technically arum is still a winner at the end.

Getting arrested is nothing to be proud of, and is not the least bit cool. Comment was just saying your perspective on the need for hard evidence for an arrest to occur was not correct.
I guess that can vary but common sense tells me that in order to get arrested for something, there has to be some kind of witness or evidence that you have convicted a crime. I'm sure police officers don't go around arresting people, just because someone told them to. If i'm a cop and i get a call from a woman that says she's been beaten and I get there and there's not one single scratch, mark, blood, print or anything that tells me she's not lying I'm going to ask her where's the girl that got beat cause she sure didn't. It'd be too easy to just have someone call 911 and make up a claim just to get someone arrested. Not only is it a waste of time it's also a waste of money. The courts don't want to waste money on accusations without proof. They'd go bankrupt if they arrested everyone just because someone said they did something just to find out they were lying.
But I don't know anything about that case. Nor do I care to know. That's a personal issue between nate and his girlfriend and it's none of my business. I'd rather debate boxing, not domestic violence.
