ishida was far his best opponent. the gym was an interm champ, so i dont know why they thought he was gonna get steam rolled. he can box, and set him self up. i think kirkland can win a rematch if he has a game plan and uses defense. if not, he will be ko'ed again, whether stoppage from so called flash kds or vicious counters.
that was a war. berto needs to go to the body more and stop pawing with his jab. he has power but ortiz is looking for it . but man, props to both. that was a great slug fest.
story really touched home. you just never know when its your time. so live each day fully. and i will mos def give my organs to those who need them. im not going to be using them when i pass away.
pac looking good. mosley is perfect in terms of style. mosley isnt a counter puncher, so to catch pac during his combos will be hard. not impossible but mos def difficult.
if pac tried, it would definitely be at a catch weight. middle weight divison would def be too big for him. the power difference could really hurt him.
good for him to keep the same trainer. with the same trainer, they know your tendencies and know how you work, so its good to keep them. but also a new assistant could help. but in boxing, there are so many factors that you can blame a loss on. i think sometimes the trainer is a scapegoat let go, just to have someone to blame.
