well, honestly if he's a true counterpuncher and that's what he relies on if he's an amateur he's going to have a rough time as i did. Amateur boxing is all about throwing punches not waiting for your opponent you want to press the action every round and throwing punches non-stop, the more punches you throw the more of a chance you have to land them and that's what amateur boxing is all about, putting that white strip on your opponents body.
i'm a very good counter puncher, i was relying on it heavily and learned my lesson that i cant wait for my opponent and pick him off, amateur boxing is too short for that kinda stuff.
You got to download it, run the exe.
Thats what i did, and once you start it up there will be a list of channels on the left hand side.
I've got a question though, i dont see anything about Pacman vs. Morales maybe it'll pop up in the channel list when the event actually starts?
Taylor is a bum, I dont get boxing at all anymore. Spinks threw 200+ more punches then Taylor and landed 15 less. Taylor would landed a solid shot every 2 rounds, yet he wins? & these HBO clowns are nutthugging Taylor only because he's on HBO. Emanuel Stewart even knew Taylor was losing that's why he was screaming at him the last half of the fight. Spinks did exactly what Mayweather did against De la hoya, run&hit yet he loses. Jim Lampley bashing that judge that had it 117-111 for spinks is rediculous, how is ok when another judge had the same score for Taylor based on what? landed a clean shot every 2 rounds.
This is why boxing is dieing, the judges ruin it. They need to make up their minds on what they are scoring is it going to be aggression,landed shots,defense, or what.
I love the way he avoided the Pavlik question, if he fought Pavlik like that he'd get TKO'd in less then 5 rounds.
He's got a point!!! What point...Taylor did not do anything the entire fight. He no he lost and so did his trainers. HBO was too bias about this fight!!! Those punch stats were bogus as hell. Taylor looked gun shy and confused the entire fight. It was a \n ugly fight but Spinks clearly won!!! As PBF what say, "Easy Work."
Exactly my thoughts, Taylor did absolutely squat. I give him this, he landed the harder punches but he was suppose to. But, how often? I seen him land flush punches maybe every 2-3 rounds. Spinks landed less power punches, but was more aggressive. Spinks style is almost identical to Floyd Mayweathers, "HIT" & "NOT GET HIT". Spinks controlled the fight with his Right Jab, counter punched when the chance presented itself. While Taylor, on the other hand did not do anything. The last round he let it out, and hardly touched Spinks.
I've got a few favorites from Mike Tyson.
on Lennox Lewis;
"My main objective is to be professional but to kill him."
I want to rip out his heart and feed it to him. I want to kill people. I want to rip their stomachs out and eat their children."
on Razor Ruddock;
"You're sweet. I'm going to make sure you kiss me good with those big lips. I'm gonna make you my girlfriend."
on Robin Givens;
"I paid a worker at New York's zoo to re-open it just for me and Robin. When we got to the gorilla cage there was 1 big silverback gorilla there just bullying all the other gorillas. They were so powerful but their eyes were like an innocent infant. I offered the attendant $10,000 to open the cage and let me smash that silverback's snotbox! He declined."
on Fans;
"There are nine million people who see me in the ring and hate my guts. Most of them are white. That's okay. Just spell my name right."
on boxing;
"I try to catch him right on the tip of the nose, because I try to push the bone into the brain."
to media;
“I want to throw down your kid and stomp on his testicles, and then you will know what it is like to experience waking up everyday as me. And only then will you feel my pain.”
Roy Jones called Tarver's punch a "lucky lick". He said guys try to come out and get a lucky lick. You can expect Tarver to reply to that.
Anyway, it seems like he's only interested in Rahman because of the hard time he saw James Toney had against Rahman.
My first post here, but i dont like the match-up between RJJ and Rahman. Of course Roy will try and outbox him, but i believe if Rahman catches RJJ will a few solid punches *doesn't have to be with all his power* i think RJJ will be stuck in his shell for the rest of the fight if he lasts the full 12 rounds.
I'm a fan of RJJ, but i just dont see him being able to take a Rahman punch.

i was bored, and was messing with photoshop..
feel free to use whatever you want.
Mike Stewart called out Ebo Elder.
Both very classy guys, sat in the kitchen with each other after Mike called Ebo out and they talked and stuff of that nature. Supposibly their wifes were very close friends since they moved to the family housing apartments.
Ebo took 3 rounds off the bat i believe, had the fight well in hand and got cought with a stewart left hook i believe and wobbled Elder and eventually knocked him out.
best fight i seen on the show, due to the actual fight and class of both fighters.
Ebo also left in an ambulance to go get checked out in the hospital just for safety, Mike Stewart felt very bad it seemed cause they both became good friends in the house aswell as their wifes and kids.
thx, ya it looks real good.. the others i didnt spend enough time on, they dont look to bad though. I saved the photoshop files so i'll touch them up soon to make em' look more "flashy"
Hey, i just made a tito trinidad sig.. was kind of hard with the picture you suggested because it looked like he had no hands check this one out and tell me what you think..

Kostya Tszyu is my favorite boxer, i believe he's well passed his prime.
If Kostya would comeback, i'd like him to have atleast one tune-up fight.
As someone said earlier Tszyu has never been outboxed before, and that's exactly how i would see Mayweather approaching this fight. I honestly dont think Mayweather could "BANG" with Tszyu. Kostya Tszyu has lightning quick hands and packs tremendous power in both hands. If Kostya Tszyu gets back to his old self, in example the way he destroyed Sharmba Mitchell i believe he stands a great chance to beat Mayweather.
I agree, i wish he would retire already.
He just has the mentality of a warrior, and isn't going to give up boxing unless someone makes him. I believe they should have made him stop boxing about 3 years ago maybe even longer than that. Holyfield needs to retire before he ends up dead in the ring, or he's walking around like ALI is now.
If Mayweather thinks he's going to TKO baldomir he better be carrying a bat into the ring. Baldomir can sure take a punch, thats all i know & he puts pressure on his opponents after they land heavyshots.
One thing i dislike about the contender is when the fights going on, they put everything in slo-mo anticipating a big shot and when they show it the punch barely phases the guy.
speaking of poor sportsmanship, walter wright on the contender is quickly becoming my least favorite fighter.... here's hoping that K9 KO's him
I agree, At first Walter Wright was ok in my book.
Now, you see him talking trash,showboating, etc.. just shows poor sportsmanship. I hope K9 wips him good.
i'm not too sure about this, but awhile ago i heard that one of the belt sanctioning's were suppose to be at or visit Castillo's camp before the fight to make sure he was on weight, so the samething wouldn't happen like there 2nd fight where Castillo didn't come in overweight & supposibly they sent letters in saying he was on track of making weight.
