Since when is DOug the authority on what is a competitive fight? I bet he thought Cotto vs Yuri or Mayweather vs Mosley would be competitive. And he was wrong on both accounts. Do you understand the concept of weightclasses? The reson there are so many weightclasses is so that you fight people within your WEIGHT CLASS! Holy SH!T, What a FU(K!NG CONCEPT! Catchweights are good for extremities. For example, Pacquiao coming up from 135 to 147 never having founght there to fight De La Hoya, I am cool with that catchweight. But once you fight in that weight class and are willing to fight other fighters like Mayweather at 147 why is there a need for the catchweight? Should Cotto have made Yuri fight him at 150, remember, Yuri was the guy Pac turned down becuase he was to tall for him... Your telling me that now Cotto should make Martinez fight him at a catchweight of 150, to defend his 154 belt. C'mon man, I don't even know why I entertain these discussions anymore because Pacquiao fans are always tunnel vision and refuse to listen to reason. :omfg: You guy have selective memories, only want to use the case that enhances your case and you throw out anything anybody else says. Welterweight's weight limit is 147 lbs .......If you're 140lbs+ you can still fight as a welterweight so long as you don't go over the 147 lbs on weigh in day.
Son the Junior middleweight or super middleweight 's has 154 lbs weight (LIMIT) it means you can be lower than that to a point, but not over it!!

Cotto would kill Berto this one isn't even competitive after 4 rds. Hell Collazo took it to Berto and even had him woobled, I like a lot of people saw Berto Lose that one. Thats who he should fight next. Cotto would massacre Berto. Actually I like the fight for cotto because its a semi big fight that will be easy for him to make some $$ and not have to risk a lot plus it will give his body more time to heal.

He is highly regarded and respected among the other names you mentioned... But IMO every fighter fits with a certain kind of trainer... I do believe that Roach was tailor made for Pacquiao, and i doubt (IMO) that no other trainer would've brought PAC to this level...
No real links but I can think of examples. Its just a everytime a good solid fighter loses its automatically, opps so and so fighter should get trained by Roach and that wouldn't have happened.

I disagree on the best fight of the week doe. I think its gonna be David Benavides vs Porky Medina on Fox Sports OR it might be Jose Uzcategui upsetting my boy Andre Dirrell on Showtime on the undercard of that Gary Russell fight. Hate to see Dirrell lose cuz I been a fan since his amateur days, but I think his career has been shaky for awhile.

Dirrell will surely lose, we didn't talk about that fight because we didn't feel anyone would want to hear about that one Dirrell as his career has seem to fizzle out and matrix is no longer an enigma.

They said on the unofficial Marquez weighed 148 and that Mayweather did not allow HBO to unofficially weigh him it was stated during one of the first 2 fights.
When he fights one of these three men he will get props. Pacquaio, Mosley, or Cotto. Its cut and dry.
No because Pacquiao is the easy way out, and because Cotto will spank that ass... If he fights Mosley, Cotto, Margarito, or Williams he has my respect.
