Cotto may not be the same fighter he was pre-Margarito but I have no doubt that he beats Chavez Jr, and keep in mind that Chavez Jr will probably weight drain himself to get to 154, so that puts things in Cotto's favor even moreso.
Proof he was a light punching bum and the Ricans praise him as one of Lopez's so called great wins.I just lurk the forums most of the time but why do you always have something negative to say about Puerto Ricans?.......You have some deep rooted issues you need to sort out.
But as far as the thread subject goes, I guess its better to retire to early rather than too late, Luevano was a good solid fighter who won a trinket so credit to him if he feels the need to retire.
I have been a big time JuanMa critic for his apparent ducking of Caballero but on this note I say give him some time, I'm pretty sure he is trying to process how a big money fight for him has gone down the drain.
Props to felix and juanma for welcoming giovanni.Wheres cotto at?
By all accounts Cotto is very anti-social so he doesn't do things like welcoming visiting fighters.
The irony of Margo still having these hardcore fans that no matter what they back him up and will twist any story to accomodate their agenda
Truer words have never been spoken. I remember when these same Mexicans(Margarito dick riders) would **** on Trinidad for his very minor/bull**** handwrap controversy and try to say that Trinidad had illegal wraps against Vargas, but once one of their own was in a much bigger handwrap controversy they all of a sudden wanna get mad at others for accusing Margarito of possibly loading in past fights. I guess these Mexicans don't like the taste of their own medicine.
What a dumb statement the "author" made when he said Judah nearly pulled the upset on Cotto, Judah exaggerated the effect of those low blows, especially the first one which was not all that low.
9 lives? Judah had one life, for one fight, against Cory Spinks. I don't understand why everyone is always trying to talk themselves into Judah being anything special. It's the biggest mystery in my life watching boxing.Real talk, I have Zab's career set that I have been watching and he isn't this rare species of talent people make him out to be, and I'm saying that even if he wasn't the mentally weak boxer he is, he might have one less loss or two if he had good focus but he still loses to most of the fighters he lost to.
