Now Bute expects Ward to give into his every demand as far as location, purpse split, co-promotion, etc etc. He basically threw up half a dozen roadblocks to a Ward fight before negotiations could even begin. Bute was a very big Super middleweight. The move up may rejuvenate him. Bute looked very weigh-drained, especially in his last 2 fight at SMW. Look at pictures of Bute-Johnson and Bute-Froch and you'll see what I mean. For Grachev fight even if he was only 1lbs over the 168 limit he looked a bit better. He was suborned and wanted to stay at 168 for Ward, after that possibility gone out the window and he lost to Froch, he thought to stay there for the Re-match. So the thing that could turn the tides here, can be the fact that Bute might have been suffering the effects of draining himself into making 168. At 175 we might see a Bute that will have better chin, better power, better stamina, all that could have been the effects of weight-draining. It will be very interesting to see if that was the case.

If they do make such an offer then I'm sure Stieglitz would turn it down. It's a very high-risk fight for Stieglitz against a world-class opponent. I'm sure he'd want at least twice that amount (>$1m) to fight Kessler. Bute's promoter Interbox offered Stieglitz's team 500,000$ and all the German Tv rights. Thinking that the Romanian Tv rights for Bute-Miranda have been 116,000€ (150,000$) and for Bute-Brinkley 100,000€(130,000$), not knowing at what prices the German Tv channels are buying the Tv Airing rights for Stieglitz's fights , and considering that this is a big unification bout I'm gonna assume the minimum is to be around 200,000$, that will sum up to a final of 700,000$.
