Actually, Hatton won 2 of his next fights after his only loss in his career that time againts Floyd before Pacquiao face Hatton at his best weight of 140div where he also undefeated. He even won and looks good against a more technically sound fighter Malinaggi.
Cotto also won two of his next fight after his loss to Margarito & he proved that he still a tough fighter by wiinning against a big guy like Clottey, knocking down Clottey in early round & survive the fight even he suffer a cut in his eye in the 2nd round.
Margarito loss to Mosley can be the effect of cutting down in weights to make 147 & on what happened before that fight when he was caught cheating & lost his focus on the fight. I would say that Pacquiao face a more focus, more determined fighter & much bigger & heavier version of Margo.
While Dela Hoya still won against Steve Forbes after a split decision lose to Floyd.
Dont forget that Morales loss to Barrera is controversial & it is his 1st time to fight at 135 when he loss to a hit & run style of Zahir Raheem.

Why Floyd just start demanding that random blood testing during Pac-Floyd negotiations and not on any of his past 40 fights if he really that confident that he can beat Pac so easy?

The truth is, those accusations just came out from his dad's mouth after Pac-Hatton fight cause he cannot accept that Pac can do better than his son did to Hatton & Dela hoya so he accused him w/out any basis. Pacquiao even agreed to bood testing 14 days before the fight & another 1 RIGHT after the fight just to shut them up even its not required by the commission.
Well if Floyd is really confident that he can beat Pacquiao easilly, he should just follow what Nevada Athletic Commision rules says like what every boxers are doing in the past several decades. Is that mean all the boxers in the past are questionable too including him?

The article says that the negotiation between Top Rank & Golden Boy Promotion ( Representative of Floyd) is already completed and the two major problem has been resolve. The final proposal is already sent to Floyd for his aproval. It means that they only waiting for Floyd to sign the contract so they can announce the fight.
There is no comment from the Golden Boy Promotion as of now denying this news so that means that Arum is not telling a lie.
BTW I just notice on most of Floyd's fans comments here that they dont want to believe that the fight is going to happen and it seems that they already defending Floyd for not making this fight. LOL

Pacquiao & his team already said even before the fight with Margarito that Pac will going back to 147 after the fight cause Pac felt slow & uncomfortable when he tried to gain more weight & go up 150+ while in training. Its looks like Flomos want Pac to commit suicide by forcing Pacman who can only weighed 144.5 at the weigh-in and 148 pounds at the fight night, to fight a guy who already fought as high of 160 pounds div. and can be 175+ pounds at fight night. Anyway I think Pacquiao punch harder than Mosley. Mosley lose to Cotto & he cant even knock him down, while Pac Knock down Cotto 2x in their fight & finished Cotto at the 12th rnd.
