Is it not a fact that, in reality, ALL boxers and MOST sportsmen use some kind of steroids? Look how rife it is in the UFC. Who cares? As long as everyone's doing it it's fair!
Yeah, straight away I thought Martinez and Donaire. Have to say though, to see Pacquiao in a good match up would be exciting. I think Pac is an exciting fighter but we need to see him in a war instead of another one sided fight like I think the Mosely fight will be. Pac vs Martinez would be fukking awesome!
I tore my anterior cruciette ligament 8 weeks ago. It was so fukking painful. There's no way he could sit there like that with a straight face. Perhaps what Lennox said is true and he did it a while ago. I'm having surgery in a month or so then will take 9 months to be back to 100% strength. Mine happened in a pit at a local metal show!
He's a samoan, but the kiwis stole him since they don't have any good fighters of their own.
Tua has lived here in New Zealand all his life. If he didnt come here he wouldnt have learned to box. I think he wants to be said to be Samoan to put his country of birth on the map, thats it.
No way he can beat a klitschko, especially with manny steward in the corner.
I just think it was silly of Toney to go up against one of the strongest and most experienced wrestlers in UFC. Even experienced mma fighters dont enter the UFC and fight someone like Couture in their first fight. Why fight someone who is so good at neutralising punchers by squashing them against the cage? EVEN WITHIN BOXING FIGHTERS CHOOSE THEIR OPPONENTS WISELY!! If he had had an opponent who was more striking based then it might have been more entertaining. Maybe if Toney trained mma for 5 years then might have been different.
If they really want to show boxing up they should send Couture over to boxing to fight Wladamir or Vitali Klitschko.
The guy would get a beating which would retire him from both sports, permanently.
.
Exactly just like what happened to Toney fighting mma... your point being?
