id like to see those interviews..
they should make this fight, both are at 140 right now... both have something to prove there. i love both guys, ive seen campbell fight live.... but i got zab by KO.
i like lamon, still has a big punch but he was never the most skilled guy. he is a class act though and there is nothing id rather see in the heavyweight division than lamon back on top.
Thats besides the point. He has no heart, can't box a lick, and relies on his power. Thats not all that bad, except for the fact that he refuses to actually mix it up and spends the whole fight turtled up looking like a queer.
he can still make some money playing gate keeper, this fight tonite was a clash of styles but i think he could be in some pretty good fights. i think his future as a contender is over though...
sergio martinez got robbed....twice. ive never seen anything like that, the ref reached ten, appeared to have stopped the fight and was than talked into continuing the fight... than martinez was robbed...again, this time on the cards.
Nate swept the first 3 and last 3 rounds and had 2 KD's.. That's 114-112 / 114-111 right there. It doesn't get simpler than that. Basic math.
personally, i had it the same as you....
i want to see more ricky hatton, im becoming a huge fan of his. matter of fact, judah vs hatton on 24/7 would be great... they just need to make that fight.
Even though RJJ had a more exciting style and a better record than Hopkins, Ive never seen B-Hop get completely embarrassed like rjj has in his last 3 L's.
BHop has never been knocked down.
BHop does not lose to Mediocre fighters like Tarver & Glen Johnson.
BHop is always close in a fight and looks good even when he loses.
So with that said Im moving RJJ from number 3 in my top 5 all time to completely off of the list. I will always remember him as a failure now.
bhop has been knocked down...
chad dawson fought a great fight, however, if he wishes to impress and gain the kind of fame it appears he wants, he is going to have to start taking risks. he is a talented fighter but he doesnt have that mass appeal or one punch knockout power that boxing's stars have.
id love to see a rematch, great fight. i just dont see anything that cotto can do to change the result. cotto did everything he could have possibly done, margarito wasnt affected by it.
