Holmes jump kicked guys off cars. Tyson was a rampant maniac. Since when did boxing get so respectable?
I guess im more talking about professionalism when it comes to training
An attainable figure for anyone on the planet who isn't juicing.
When you're carrying the level of muscle mass AJ is while remaining super cut and dry then you're a prime suspect to anyone who actually knows what they're talking about.
Genetics. lol.
Oh of course, you know what you're talking about and i dont. The fact that you laugh at genetics makes me think you have never set foot in a ****ing gym
When you are running for a political office saying you don't have an opinion on **** isn't gonna garner you a whole lot of votes. This whole thing mighta hurt Manny's rep in the US cuz the US is all PC about **** these days, but in the Philippines I bet the outcome is fairly neutral or even positive. And being that he'll be in the Philippines even more his Philippines rep is more important than his US rep once this Bradley III fight is over.
Not true, he took a big dip in the polls after the comment
Uh even the President has a person who screens questions and tell them what to answer and not answer its called PR.
If manny needs to be told not to say that kind of stuff hes dumber than we thought
No one tells the president "Dont say gays should be killed", its kind of implied when you become an adult
GGG vs. Froch will not be as popular as Froch v. Groves II. Where are ya'll getting this 10-15 mil number from? And 80,000 at Wembley? GGG has never sold out Vegas, what makes you think he can sell out Wembley? K2 will get raped in negotiations because they Hearn knows how desperate they are
Selling out in the UK is a lot easier as the brits are actual boxing fans.
Fury always has the potential to revert to the barroom brawler of his earlier days. That's what makes all his fights potentially exciting affairs. Thing is, last time he was in a competitive, back and forth affair people criticised him mercilessly for it. So what the fcuk do they want him to do?
You don't need evidence when it comes to Joshua. The pictures speak for themselves.
He will always be mr sensible with Peter Fury. He has never boxed silly with him in his corner.
So having muscles = Roids? The guy is 6'6 with a gigantic frame. His muscles are big, but not abnormally large for his frame
He had shoulder surgery in 2013 and came back to fight Rodriquez, then sued to get out of his contract and was out until 2015...damn this is common knowledge
Why fight rodriquez?
It has nothing to do with genetics.
The guy is obviously a gym rat and is eating the right things 247365.
That's why he's ripped. He wasn't born like it.
Of course genetics has something to do with the way he looks.
If you get 100 people doing exactly what Joshua does they are not all going to look the same.
If it has nothing to do with genetic makeup then there should be millions of Usain Bolts walking around...
Im not surprised Fury's back is stuffing out, he has put on so much weight. Bodies cant take that ricky Hatton lifestyle for long, especially a 6'9 heavyweights body. Guy is killing his career
How in the hell can you call a guy that has trained a hall of famer and 14 world champs a "joke trainer"
Seriously, its like you gus think Abel just started being a trainer in the last few years or something
and talking about these trainers as if they know nothing about boxing, when they know more than any of us here is stupid
What does it matter how athletic he is outside of a boxing ring? Why the fcuk should anyone care about that?
Fury brings unpredictability to the sport, as well as genuine charisma and excitement. He'll storm rings, drunk as fcuk, to call out fighters to their face, start brawls in press conferences, utter all kinds of controversial shit that'll have people up in arms. You think that bland, media-trained puppet Joshua will ever do anything like that? No, he'll talk about hard work and never giving up on your dreams and winners don't take drugs (all the while being juiced up to his eyeballs). Fcuking bleh.
Yeah Fury is all entertaining out of the ring, but in the ring he is boring as ****.
And so many people talking about Joshua being on drugs without a shred of evidence
Wow ok, now we're down to idiot level I see.
Of course the exact way he looks is down to genetics. :lol1: But yeah, if everyone did what he did, they would also be extremely buff and ripped to shreds.
they might not be 6'6 and have the EXACT muscle definition he has. But they would ripped.
What are you basing this on? cain Velasquez lives in the gym and he looks like a 6 year old doughboy
No, having ridiculously full muscle bellies with zero fat and hosepipe veins = Roids.
Joshua does not have a remotely naturally attainable figure.
So anyone with muscles and a low body fat is on drugs? Seriously?
Attainable figure compared to who? Everyones genetics is different you cant compare
Ali looked like a slob in his later years and he never had a the physique of a bodybuilder, even when he was in his prime. Most boxers that look like bodybuilders suck as actual fighters. The fight game isn't about physical appearance and a posing routine. If that's what you're into then you should stay away from boxing and check out Mr. Olympia.
He was an amazing athlete for his time. Its not about having the physique of a bodybuilder, its about actually looking and acting like a professional. Right now fury is so out of shape its embarrassing. The guy refuses to take his training seriously unless his uncle forces him to.
Joshua hasn't faced anybody yet and his able to beat world champions. And people talking about athleticism. I'm sure klitschko was called athletic a lot too. How did that turn it for him
11 years unbeaten?
I do give him credit, but it was Vitali who avenged his loses, not Wlad.
He avenged sanders & Purity but Wlad still had to come back from being Koed. Wlad came back and knocked Brewster out not Vitali. And Wlad beat Byrd for Vitali
No, it isn't. Especially when you have no issue fighting other 168 fighters with no CW.
I can only imagine the reaction on here if Ward refused to fight Kovalev unless it was a CW of 172.......
Who is golovkin fighting at 168?
And Ward fights at 175 so your point is invalid
Haha he didn't pick himself up from jack ****, big bro had to step in and handle business for him.
**** sake, he banned Vitali from his camp, how in the hell did Vitali help him come back?
Yeah its so easy to come back from 3 KO losses to journeyman to become a legend. Seriously give the guy some credit
It matters because it puts boxing in a bad light having someone like that as a heavyweight champion. You want a professional athlete to actually look like a professional athlete, not some slob who just rolled off the couch.
Fury appeals to the lowest common denominator and his antics have gotten predictable. And none of that sh*t matters if you're absolute aids to watch in the ring.
It is quite dissapointing to see fury turn in a fat prick between every fight. Youd think he would learn by now
I think people are on board the fury train due to him beating klitschko and not many people thought he would. He proved the world wrong and have to respect that
Yeah but its becoming a bit too much. I picked Fury to win and rooted for him, but the rematch is still 50/50. Fury seems to be looking past the rematch and after seeing how out of shape he was at hughie's fight, half his camp will just be getting in decent shape
Hearn is doing his job, promoting. Its why he's one of the best, he always knows exactly what to say to rile people up
On a side note, ive always liked Fury but am getting a bit sick of him always talking about sparking everyone out when his style in the ring is the exact opposite. There is zero evidence that he has the ability to knock Klitschko out
Why is everyone caring so much about sparing. It would be like discussing an NFL player dropping a ball at practice
Everyone trains at a different level of intensity and looks to work on different things
Turn down a fight?? he was given a sh1t offer of 164.....
Yeah thats called a catchweight. When someone fights at 168 and someone fights at 160 then 164 seems pretty reasonable no?
I'm not a Wlad hater but what adversity do you speak of? Sam peters is really all that comes to mind for me.
Maybe he does want the fight and is training hard, but he hasn't been able tom pull the trigger in years. For not fighting against so many smaller unskilled fighters he Would of lost a long time ago too.
Are you serious? He came back from being Knocked out by Sanders and brewster with everyone telling him to retire including his brother. He not only won the title again but went unbeaten for 11 years barely losing a round
Not many people could pick themselves up after the losses he suffered. People always overlook this when it comes to wlad and call him mentally weak even though he came back from the lowest point possible to become an atg
BTW Ask Pulev if Wlad doesnt pull the trigger anymore
Hes said numerous times in the past that he wants nothing to do with GGG and that hes on another level
Saunder's head has grown to a crazy size these days though
