ok put it like this.......
look how big mexico is....ok, now, look how little P.R. is...by percentage P.R. has produced more champions than mexico... yes that little piece of land. not even the smallest mexican state has produced so many champions, now imagine if P.R. was as big as mexico.......
no matter what, pr's and mex's should be proud for representing the latinos on boxing and not try to measure who's best dividing themselves knowing that we're the blockbusters of the buissness.
latino pride
its right to say that Ruiz is scared, but Toney is punk too for taking steroids, he is a dirty player and doesn't deserve a rematch.
AND I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THE MAN. SORRY I THIS PISS YOU OFF BUT IT MAKES GOOD SENSE. BUT IN THE OTHER SIDE .... RUIZ SHOULD NOT BACK UP FROM TONEY ...HE SHOULD TRAIN BETTER AND TRY AGAIN TO FIGTH HIM BACK IN ABOUT A YEAR AT LEAST ...I'LL LIKE TO SEE A REMATCH....DO YOU?

I think Oscars is, but its funny how strikingly similar their path to fame is...
They both beat their countries legends when they were old, Tito beat camacho, Oscar beat chavez.
They both sorta re-launched their career by beating skill limited tough guys and made them fight past their real weights. Tito Mayorga, Oscar Gatti.
both beat old drug damaged whitaker, and didnt look good doing it.
Both had some trouble with Vargas before stopping him and both got stopped against hopkins.
Hi, very good observation! I think that both are great and did the best of them and brought glory to their people.
I bet if there were a second figth between gomez and sanchez, gomez would've beign the winner by decision, or by a later round knock out.....ohh yeah...no doubt....
