Bit Hrgovic obviously took all that shots pretty well and recovered each time.
He recovered well in the end, but he really didnt take some of them that well. it could have ended bad if Zhang pushed a bit more after landing a big one.
This is literally him turning away lost and confused right after Zhang counter punched him in round 9 and it happened multiple times.

Hrgovic won that fight, but holy crap did he look bad. Looked like a Croatian Charles Martin every time he took a big shot and started to forget he was in a fight.
After watching that performance, his little rival Alen Babic could actually have a chance. He really didn't do that great against pressure.
He was lighter in the 1st fight when Fury came from cocaine binge and still couldn't win. So no.
Came here to say this basically. I am not sure why people are forgetting that he tried this already.
Wilder has an angle though "i fight better at a lower/natural weight" he could use that to get a 4th fight
He tried that in the first fight and the best he could get was a draw.
Helanus took a dive!
Nah. If it was a dive, the back of his head wouldn't have damn near went through the ring when he collapsed.
Great performance by Wilder. Good to see this happy new version of him.
He's a future Hall of Famer.
- Very famous trilogy against Tyson Fury
- WBC champ for years.
- had like 10 title defenses
- The legendary right hand.
that's enough to put him in there. Especially when you think about some of the people already in there.
Sounds like Carlos Negron did a lot better then expected was it because Sanchez underperformed?
He was the same "boring Ass" Frank Sanchez as always, but the height and jab of Negron gave him some trouble until about round 6 or so I would say. Frank did land a few good right hands though.
Just name me one fighter on Joshua’s resume who was better than Tyson Fury. Thank you very much! I rest my case. AJ never fought Wilder or Fury but he gets points for beating only his mandatories? Got’cha! :fing02:
I like Wilder a lot more than AJ, and i would bet money on him beating AJ, but if you really want to go down the "who has a better resume" path, Usyk - Fury are on the same level as of now in my opinion. Both elite guys. Besides that, AJ has faced overall tougher opposition compared to Wilder.
AJ - Usyk, Klitschko, Povetkin, Ruiz, Whyte, Parker for his top opponents.
Wilder - Fury, Ortiz, Arreola, Steverne, Breezale, Washington for his top opponents.
