No disrespect but look underneath your screen name....LMAO :lol1:Low post count because I don't usually post here. I go to ESPN or palace or ninja. And besides, it's not my opinion or my thread that's why I linked it. Someone did the scorecard sampling in ESPN and even though 8 scorecards were for JMM and 4 were for Pacquiao, the average score had Pacquiao winning more rounds by a close margin but JMM won his rounds convincingly.
Round by Round Scorecard
Someone made a round-by-round scorecard post in the ESPN boxing forum. There were 16 scorecards so far (4 for Pacquiao, 4 Draw, 8 for Marquez). But when you tally up the scores per round, Marquez won 5 rounds decisively and Pacquiao won 7 rounds but some of the rounds he won were very close.
I think if you watch the fight and hear the crowd reaction, it is clear that Marquez had the better fight. But if you break it down round per round, a draw or Pacquiao win is possible.

Pacquiao fans who are not pac-tards know that Floyd has a legit chance of outboxing Manny for 12 rounds. Floyd's skills and defense are topnotch. I think the Floyd backlash is more with him going on vacation, etc.
That's because if he hits his gf or a security guard, there's actually a gf or a security guard and other websites publish the news. This article came from goarticle.com (they've since removed the article) from a fictional writer and a fictional Filipino sparring partner. And you're wondering why it's not news?
I'm pretty sure they will post something soon about this fake article, but don't expect them to report it as if it's true.
Floyd has made it clear and obvious that he wants the fightAnd Roach said if he wants to fight, Floyd just needs to call and their on. Can anyone just give these guys each other's phone numbers?
RingTalk just took out the article. All you need to know about that article is it was written by Pedro Fernandez so you know it's anti-Pacquiao. They're one of the few boxing sites that reported the fake article as if it's true, and Pedro even defended it in the comments.
that would be the funny if he did write the article
Buboy does speak better English than Pacquiao. I find it funny that of the 2 dropouts, the dropout boxing trainer is translating Roach's instructions for the dropout Congressman.
Arum was the one that said "Pacquiao agreed to everything."
Isn't Arum Pacquiao's boss?
Why is Floyd still making the "he has his boss" excuse when it's already the boss that said they agree to everything?
The title should be changed to:
Hatton Wonders if He Should Have Had His Jaw Tested
I now know what people mean when they say "glass jaw". It's the kind of jaw that puts you to sleep for a couple of minutes.
mehhh... forget the weight. these guys are similar in size. let them come in whatever comfortable fighting weight they can. im pretty sure jmm is dehaydrating himself the last week of training to get to 135. he ballooned more than 10lbs fight night w/ katsidis.Yeah, fight night weight will not be much different for both fighters if they weigh-in anywhere from 140-147.
You STILL haven't answered the question. Let me say it one more time. If pac asked for 145 because he couldn't make 147...then why did he come in at 149 on fight night? I'm just asking, because that's what I saw the poster put up. That's what I asked him and since you got in it then you could possibly answer that question, which you haven't done twice already.
If you can't answer then you shouldn't have stepped into the convo.:tool:Because regular WW weigh in at 147 and re-hydrate to 155-160 at fight time. Cotto has a bigger frame and, as you saw in last weekend's fight, can carry 160 lbs. easy. Manny's fighting weight tops out at 150. By making Cotto weigh in at 145, he can re-hydrate back to around 155 max. Even Hatton, who weighed in at 140 vs. Pacman, was at 152 during fight time and is now at 200.
Pacquiao has sold at least 150K more PPV in their last 3 fights, even if you consider the 1.25M PPV that was claimed for Floyd vs. Ortiz that industry experts doubted was accurate. Plus Pacquiao did not have to give up tickets for free on the day of the fight just so there are not a lot of empty seats.
Without a drug test Pac legacy will be tainted like Barry Bonds a man who never failed a drug test but the public convicted him of doing so Pac is on thin ice now people with good common sense say if you are clean take the test and clear your name which he has failed to do so farCommon misconception. To say that Bonds never tested positive is misleading and not true. Prior to 2006, all MLB tests are confidential. He could've tested positive prior to 2006 but it cannot be made public. When MLB came up with a better drug policy in 2006, Bonds tested positive for amphetamines that same year.

The difference in the US and Asia is you can look at your girlfriend wrong and get in trouble here especially if your famous but you can kill your spouse in the Phlippines and get away with it. There will NEVER be a congressman in the US with only a 3rd grade education.:boxing:
I always see this 3rd grade education BS. It seems like someone started this and everybody believed it. Give me 1 link from any reputable news agency or website that said that he was a 3rd grade dropout. Most news sites say he is a high school dropout (albeit early high school drop out). And he has passed the GED so he has high school equivalent education.
No one has given me any link. It's always coming from someone's post in the forum or someone's blog. Try to be the first one.
Isn't the tax rate threshold at 100K-110K, depending on your filing status (Single, Married filing Jointly of Head of Household). Anything you earn above that is taxed at a flat rate of 35%. So it doesn't matter if you earn $40M this year and $60M next year or if you earn $100M in 1 year. You get taxed the same 35%, except for the first $100K which is taxed at a lower rate, but that's peanuts to Floyd.
It's the same thing for corporate taxes (Mayweather Promotions). It's 34% from 335K to 10M, 35% from 10M to 15M, 38% from 15M to 18.3M and a flat 35% for anything exceeding $18.3M. Assuming Mayweather Promotions kept at least half of the $40M for Mosley, he should already exceed the $18.3M threshold which means a 35% rate after that.
The only other variable is his expenses/deductions but that is deductible either way assuming he has income on both years.
Honestly, this is getting pretty f*cking pathetic. Where are the Pac fans who happen to be boxing fans speaking out? Enough is enough. You have a point. This is a promotional offer from Top Rank to Marquez using Pacquiao as the bait. If he stays with GBP, he will not get Pacquiao and his payday.
you making yourself stupid! lol! that weight penalty (10M/lb or 25% of the boxers guaranteed purse per lb) demand is STANDARD on NSAC rule book! its all over the boxing scene.. too bad, Golden boy sold JMM for only 600K! and too bad, you make yourself flomo! lol:pat:
You are partly correct. 25% is the default fee for failing to make the weight (so $10M out of $40M is appropriate) unless a lesser amount is agreed on...and JMM screwed himself by agreeing to less than 25%. The only difference is that it is 25% and not 25% per pound. While a per pound penalty has been done in the past, it was nothing like the $10M per pound magnitude. Nothing wrong with that clause though.

According to the article:
In Tygart's absence, Skinner assured me that USADA does not prejudge whether any athlete, domestic or foreign, is cheating by using banned drugs.
But a few months ago, this is what Tygart said:
"We chose not to test for blood closer to the fight than we did because there was no need to do so. But, of course, if we had some sort of cause or suspicion that meant that we needed to do more blood tests, let's say, five days, or, four days before a fight, then we certainly would have done it", said Tygart.
