Look at the HBO Tale of tape for the last 3 fights. He was huge right around 152 lbs vs Judah and McCloskey, but then only 149 lbs vs LP, and then shockingly came in at 148 lbs vs Garcia even though he was looking bigger in all his training pics. Love to get a knowledgeable trainer to comment on this. Aren't fighters supposed to increase their fight night weight as they get older/progress through weight? Its like he put on all that extra muscle just to lose it pre-fight. Remember how Tabares was saying Amir would make 140 on diet alone days before the fight without losing water weight. I don't see how he could have done that without losing muscle. He looked at least 160 in the training pics and yet he come in smaller than ever on fight night. Again its like he put on all that extra muscle just to lose it pre-fight. Ironic seeing as how Khan kept talking about moving up to WW since the Judah fight. End of the day I have to think that he would have eaten that shot better if he had those 4 lbs of lean body mass on him. Still would have likely got dropped but would have recovered by the next round. Thoughts?

Not gonna lie I've only been closely following the sport for about 3 yrs but I've never seen this before so thought I would bring this up regarding the Peterson steroid allegations. Has anyone ever seen another fighter rehydrate 8 more lbs while staying in the same weight class within a period of 12 months? On December 2010 Khan, Ortiz, Maidana, and Pete were all 140. Ortiz balloned up to 156 on fight night and moved up to WW only a couple months later. Peterson was the lightest one on fight night only coming in at 147 lbs. Khan and Maidana were both 149 for the main event. On 12/11. Khan was the same size at 149 but now Peterson pulled an Ortiz and came in at 155. Throughout the fight he made every effort to lay on Khan in hopes of tiring him out. Ariza later admitted on FightHype that he had greatly underestimated Peterson's size advantage in the first fight and assumed Lamont and Amir were more or less the same size judging from Pete's previous fight night weight. That's why Amir has been sparring with MW and SMW training camp and trying to bulk up. Does anyone else find this sketchy or is it normal for fighters to fluctuate in fight night weight while in the same weight class?

That way you save the fight, sort of make it an even playing field, and the bigger gloves ensure no one gets killed. Also tell Kenny Bayless to be on high alert to stop the fight the second one of them starts taking even alittle punishment. Basically turn this into a 4 round toughman contest. No I'm not being serious but if these were two Top Rank fighters I could really see this happening. 100% under the table of course.

Face it Khan-Bradley is not gonna happen. Arum is not gonna risk his newly signed racehorse against a dangerous GBP fighter. So the only way to determine the next "lineal" champion is to compare resumes. Assuming Khan also beats Peterson can Bradley even make an arguement? Only considering top 10 ranked opponents fought at JWW it should be safe to say that Kotelnik, Paulie, Maidana, and Judah>>>>>>Holt, Campbell, Witter and Alexander. Technically McCloseky was ranked number 10 prior to fighting Khan but I won't include him. The names alone should tilt it in Khan's favor but also consider 1. Kotelnik arguably upset Devon in his hometown but got dominated by Khan and Devon is supposedly Bradley's best win. 2. HBO can't do a piece on the guy without mentioning his faith and you can't come across an internet post or YT clip without someone commenting on his faith. But that's not the case with other Muslims like for Bernard Hopkins, Nazim Richardson, Zahir Raheem, Chris Eubank, the Ibramigov bros, Omar Sheika,Felix Sturm, even Tyson and Ali who are the most famous boxers alive today. Same with Nas before. Do Khan and Nas have terrorist ties or something that the other guys don't? Or is is more due to race than religion?
