Why is Amir Khan always labelled Muslim?

It might be because his family is from Pakistan which is where Bin ladin has been hiding out all these years and he is/was the most famous muslim in the world. Its only natural to connect the two.

HBO can't do a piece on the guy without mentioning his faith and you can't come across an internet post or YT clip without someone commenting on his faith. But that's not the case with other Muslims like for Bernard Hopkins, Nazim Richardson, Zahir Raheem, Chris Eubank, the Ibramigov bros, Omar Sheika,Felix Sturm, even Tyson and Ali who are the most famous boxers alive today. Same with Nas before. Do Khan and Nas have terrorist ties or something that the other guys don't? Or is is more due to race than religion? what do you have against muslims?

There are too many muslims to judge them all. Khan is a good kid, wazzaa in real life is probably a good kid. But the terrorist ****ers need to go.

I have no real reason as to why they seem to bring it up more with Khan...his skin color perhaps has something to do with it but I don't know this for sure. A lot of that media stuff is just for drama..and considering drama sells and this is America and the other guys you mentioned are past their primes and no longer MARKETABLE as stars, they perhaps chose to focus on Khan because drama surrounding him will cause his future fights to sell more...that "redneck" logic work for you?

Because those fighters you mentioned would bring up their religion at every chance they get. Khan does not do that.

I'm not sure if Ali brought it up in interviews or if HBO ever did segments on Tyson that mentioned his faith, but Khan seems like he wants people to know about his beliefs, hence why they constantly talk about him being a Muslim. I don't think it's a coincidence that they show clips of him praying in a mosque before the McCloskey fight or mention how he was fasting during Ramadan (Which was when the Prescott fight took place).
