As far as legacies go, mayweather doesn't even compare.
As a fighter, I think Robinson could break Mayweathers spirit and lower his guard. When that happens i don't think you'll find a tonne of fight in mayweather. He's too pretty.

I actually like the sanctioning bodys to a point if there were only 3 it would be fine,what i dont want to see is boxing ran like the ufc that shit is borderline pro wrestling the fighters have no say in that sport and the non exciting fighters are shunned for title oppourtuinitys just like they are in boxing,honestly if there were more fighters with balls this sport would be a lot better,we need more shane mosleys,nate campbells,glen johnsons,guys that actually care about the legacy that they leave behind.

Boxing needs to have an everest of a belt. Having many world titles of varying significance is a good thing IMO. A true world champion needs to have overcame many world champions to make it to the top. That idea makes the champion of the world actually mean something.
Weightclasses are a hard issue. Having so many divisions gives you a watered down feel but boxers wouldn't disagree with the freedom of weight that goes with our weightclasses. A kilo or 2 amplifys in terms of fitness and damage taken during a 12 rounder. Its fine for MMAs, thier fights over in 15 mins.

in todays boxing world we give cheaters world title shots and leave it to the masses to sort out the moral decisions. sleezy decisions that time and time again ruins the integrity of out sport.
frankly it might be fine drama (ala 24/7) but this is why many people turn their backs on boxing as a legit sport. The boxing world should command more respect as a regulated and professionally conducted competition as opposed to a mere money making machine. Antonios boxing license should be sent away to the backyard cock fighting arenas if thats how wants to play.
