Its basically what happens to ALL boxers who start to bodybuild and lift weights to gain weight. They become slow, flat footet and looks nothing like themselves. Usyk better get down.
Good article, hit it on the nose. Something is just completely off about all of this, and it smels more of desperation, or perhaps even manipulation by his closest in order to appease him.
Shakur getting completely overwhelmed by the furiosity of the whirlwind himself. Probably a close fight, if boring Shkaur wins, if entertaining Pac wins.
Pac by KO 11th
So he really is broke, and not afraid to throw his closest ally under the bus. You could never trust him as a friend. Leonard Ellerby probably ran for the hills after the fight game ran out.
This CONFIRMES that Floyd Mayweather has gone broke. We'll see if that brings him back into the ring. Probably still the best.
yes i agree everyone got what they wanted, it being over that is
plus a bad jaw now for jake im sure thats not what he wanted
but he rolled the dice with his boxing run & ended up with the big AJ, its what he wanted and what he did, jake has zero chance of beating anyone decent let alone good and big, its stoopid as a result but its jake stoopied as he planned it
Unfortunatly you might be right. Jake is not gonna beat Usyk. It's tough to accept it. There's simply not enough cardio in him to really tackle the elite. Looking back at it now, it almost would have seemed better to go in there and go to war and get KTFO'd in a round or two instead of trying to outrun the inevitable.
its scary that the narrative is now how well jake managed to run for how many rounds, just not good, AJ himself is not even sharp hes got one foot in retirement as well as jake now whos got both feet & a jaw but AJ did more of a job than i thought he might do, i thought he might give him a softer stoppage a sort of hard sparring with jake just finding an ending himself but jake tried to make it to the end badly to say he went 8 with AJ at the very least gassed and AJ just wanted it ended so save his embarrassment so thats how it went
Yeah but still, I think it was pretty good from Jake. He looked OK, but was overwhelmed by the sheer size and power. It was a mental challenge that he could not overcome when he finally stepped into the ring. I think he deserves a lot of credit for showing up and challenging himself, as all of us boxers have pressed him to do. I feel like everybody got what they wanted from this fight.
are u alive today?
u levels of delusion are very impressive
Didn't go our way today, AJ was too strong. Too good. JP proved himself though. Even new strategies unseen in boxing. Whenever a bigger guy puts pressure on you, you go for the leg hug. Thats a win in my book.
I'm just looking forward to it being over so all these various think-pieces can end.
Let's hope 2026 bring a series of meaningful fights across the divisions. Looking forward most to Bivol's return.
I think AJ will do anything he can, but JP jump onto the inside, and sparks him, the legs doing the stinkyleg
Excactly, people are jealous of Jake Paul, they simply cannot fathom what is going on around them. Yes Jake Paul just broke all records again. Yes he just took the biggest risk ever taken in boxing. Yes yes yes. Your opinion doesn't even matter to Jake "big balls" Paul.
Haters wouldn't dare, which is why no one will remember their name.
Please tell me you’re implying with this post that you’re one of the tinfoil commenters who believe Mike Tyson essentially at age 60 was going to beat Jake Paul…he wasn’t in a position to win no matter what. If he got beaten, he lost to an old man. If he had starched him, he would’ve been labeled a bully and gotten Netflix to pull out of the sport with all the absolute bad press. You don’t need to script that, Tyson is ancient at this point and Paul is just okay enough to wash him. It means Jack…but once he got in there with him, it was either one outcome or the other. If you wanna’ say carried him, sure. But is that scripted? Wouldn’t most people say Canelo carried Munguia? Haven’t other boxers carried fighters? Maybe Jones, Jr./Trinidad?
Of course talent should be the key to success. I agree with that. But let’s be honest, nothing drives up attention/viewership on a general level than being notorious. Floyd started making life changing money when he embraced the heel role, whereas someone like Andre Ward (as talented and accomplished as he was) could never sell anywhere NEAR someone like Floyd or Pacquiao…or hell, even a distant third place like Miguel Cotto back in the day. I’m only comparing notoriety here between Paul and Floyd, not skill level. Don’t get up in arms.
That’s unfortunately the world we live in now. Not saying it’s right, it just is.
Also, as much as AJ is a colossal puncher, do people really think he’s going to come out swinging for the fences? Haven’t we seen this rhetoric before? Remember when the boards here in 2017 (and I might include myself in this, I’m not sure) when we were all saying Mayweather could wipe out McGregor in 1 or 2 rounds? We then pivoted to, “He carried him.”
The reality was probably that Floyd got a hair worse and McGregor was better than Floyd thought.
AJ should win, but you think he needs to come out swinging for the fences otherwise “the script/fix is in”?
Umm, ok.
I really admire your patience with this troll. He's clearly just either a drunk or just so set in his ways he can't see the forest for the trees.
I couldn't be happier with this fight.
I have no idea why anyone would complain about it.
Excactly my thoughts. And people are now selling out AJ saying the fight will be fixed. You cant make this up. As if AJ would ever sell out like that, against Jake motherfucking Paul, they don´t know who AJ is then.
Jake Paul deserves respect for having gigantic disillusioned balls to step into the ring with AJ.
Khan is fast but I don't quite see his speed as being that impressive.
Wait til you see him in the ring. He is possibly the fastest hitter in boxing right now.
He is always great to read from, because he is well-spoken. But I really dislike the way he discredited Kessler for saying he got headbutted.
He's bullrushing in with his head first and clash heads with many fighters.
He's a good fighter, but he got a lot of questionmarks over his head right now.
