Margarito is more of a warrior than Cotto can ever dream of being.

Now why would a warrior carry plaster to a fight? You might want to look up Warrior in the dictionary and encyclopedias you won't find man who cheats to win. If Cotto had plaster that day unlike Margarito, Margarito would've quit and if he dared fight Mosley after that he would've been dead by now.
Pac is better of fighting at 145. there shouldn't be any excuses so Floyd should fight him in the same weight that he's been most successful. Mayweather weigh-in 146 vs Marquez so it be a lot easier for him to make the weight. If The fights at 147 Floyd might come in at 150. He never makes the right weight.
I think he has a hell of a chance and he's already proven he is more than capable of fighting super fast and super skilled fighters (I.E. the two pacman fights).
But that was at another weight. Marguez fought Manny at 125 and 129.
This is more than a tune-up fight. Juan Manuel Marquez just wants the money he has nothing to lose if he loses to Mayweather. JMM was losing to Juan Diaz, but he manage to land a good shot and Juan Diaz can't take a punch as good as other mexican fighters. Next things we will know Mayweather will challenge Ivan Calderon.

It amazes me how you'll hate on a fighter for at least manning up to fight an opponent but praise one who clearly wanted no part of them.
Many of floyd fans just use the word hate as an excuse for why people target him so much. Bottomline Mayweather talks too much and does too little. He wants people to buy in to what he says, but he avoids fighters and waits to comeback while fighters beat the hell-out off eachother.

Freek sake hatton even got 50-50 with pac and bob had to pay the extra two percent out of his own pocket to make the fight happen coz hatton was gonna pull out if he didn't get 50-50, and i think im right in saying that was pacs biggest pay day.
IMO the fairest thing to do is 50-50 but if someone deverses more its Floyd maybe 55-45 or 52-48 something like no more than that though, pac defo doesn't deserve more.

1.25m is roughly what i expected after seeing the numbers Floyd v JMM put up.
Impressive but not conclusive in the "bigger draw" argument - in fact if anything I'd say Mayweather's Numero Uno numbers are the more impressive.
That's because too many people spent more than they should on that fight. Especially a fight that made numbers thanks to Mexican fans. Mexicans wasted all their money and had to saved for Christmas. Mayweather will do more against Manny because everyone anticipates him to get his first lost. They're just dying for him to lose. But he wouldn't be selling if he wasn't talking that much trash.

Theres no way they should acknowledge Mayweather P4P record including the weight of 147. Just because he makes the weight. Did Floyd Mayweather moved up just to have all the lightweights follow him. Making the 147 division of fighters that aren't naturally Welterweights without any of them actually facing one true Welterweight, because Mayweather shouldn't be consider if he doesn't want to fight any.
Its not happening. Floyd is just doing his little tricks again. He actually would like Pac to fight Mosley and see how they beat each other up. Then he might feel the winner is there for the taking. Do you really think Pacquiao won't get hurt again after fighting Cotto and then fighting Mosley. Mosley used Cotto fight with Margarito as a learning table and has done the same with Cotto vs Pac. Even if Pacquiao does history again he might be soften up enough for floyd. And If Mosley wins a battle against Pacquiao he'll look to take on Mosley feeling he's ready for the taking. Because Floyd knows that even if he beats Pac theres still be Mosley and even if he beats Mosley there still be Pac.
