It's a bittersweet thing. Hearing casuals debating things they know very little about becomes old very quick. I suppose it comes with the territory.
Unless you have something to actually add don't bother.
Yeah... kinda what I figured. Need to be a little more than a casual fan to know them names. The biggest I remember is the Eubank, Benn and Collins era. That won't be surpassed as it was all on terrestrial TV. Even my nan watched them fights!
There's quantity but not a lot of quality.
I'd say Carl Frampton, Anthony Joshua and James Degale are the cream of the crop.
Carl Frampton a good shout. His last fight was awesome. Looking forward to the rematch. Degale fighting Jack soon which is an interesting unification fight. AJ is really hyped but done nothing wrong yet and we're waiting for him to be really tested.
As much respect as I have for Bhop, his career is filled with some comedy gold, the wrestling match with Dawson, the horrendous showboating fails on both sides in Calzaghe v Bhop and so on.
Tbh, was it ever going to end any other way? I thought Bhop would win but something like this was not impossible. At first I thought it WAS A PUSH but the replays are damning to hopkins lol
Like Ali said, "You'll see the launching of a human satellite"
One of those left hands from Smith launched Bhop into retirement
must admit I was briefly concerned for Bhop the way he landed... Looked a heavy fall and he kinda landed on his head!!
Hatton surpassed all of them haha
And calzaghe
I think amir khans televised final amatuer bout had more viewers
Where in brum you from

I truely believe if the boxing world didnt go pro black it would lose the black crowd to mma .
Mexicans and puerto ricans bring in a huge fan base . These two fan bases watch small time fights ,domestic fights , regional fights.
They will always tune in to the latinos fighting.
So the boxing corrupt officials in the USA decided to go pro black to keep blacks boxing and tuning in . Rules are bent and ignored in their favor .
Europeans , asians , latinos will aleays be at a disadvantage fighting black americans in america, especially vegas.
If boxing were to go pro latino, blacks would stop tuning in and black fighters would go to mma. Boxing in america would die.
Latinos , asians , europeans need kos to beat black americans. Most if not all swing rounds go to the black american .
This is all fact
Didn't Kel Brook beat an American on points in America? This is the most ignorant post I've ever had the misfortune to read...
id go with smith on hopkins, to literally knock someone out of the ring who had never been knocked out, as an underdog is pretty hard to beat.
A good shout... Also had great comedy value...!
Should be a good fight this - both tough lads and neither will take much of a backward step - could turn into a bit of a war.
Hard fight to call as well, they're quite evenly matched - if I had to call it though I would probably go for Williams. I have liked what I have seen from Williams since his return from injury. He has shown he is tough and had power with no small amount of skill. Whislt I wouldn't write off Beefy I think Willimas may edge it on the day.
