This is a bad list, I can think of way worse fighters than Stiverne, Chisora, Spinks etc.
Albert Sosnowski, Eric Molina and Artur Szpilka instantly come to mind.
Good post.
I think Bivol still has enough left to make it a really good fight.
Bieterbiev might be too old for sure.
Jai is a problem. That 1 hitta quitta he has is the ultimate equalizer. David could literally be up 11-0 and then it’s over that quick.
Id personally like to see David clean out LHW before the Jai fight.
I give Bivol the best chance of beating him, but Bivol has a tendency to back up to the ropes and rely on the high guard which is a bad idea against a combination puncher like Benavidez. I felt like if Beterbiev had a better engine/ more volume, he’d have clearly beaten Bivol, Benavidez certainly has that.
Opetaia is a dangerous fighter but I think he’s quite predictable and pretty easy to hit. I think Benavidez would beat he fight out of him, a bit like Fury did with Wilder. I’m not really sure what Jai can do on the inside.
Fully agree on staying at 175 atm, Bivol at 175 should be next. I have absolutely no interest in Bivol-Beterbiev 3 too. Neither fight 1 or 2 caught fire.

You still think there’s no truth to this?
Hrgovic would have made perfect sense. But he's fighting Dave Allen as we said.
What about Gassiev?
Was literally the other fight I had in mind. I think it’s more dangerous than Hrgovic too. Gassiev has a great chin and legit power. Seems to struggle with southpaws though. I like that fight too.
Looked nervous to me between rounds 1 and 2 and 2 and 3 against Franklin.
Definitely needs more experience he's no where near ready for the elite yet in my opinion.
He's got a lot of talent and ability that's clear, question mark on his chin, gas tank. Can he handle pressure, can he keep it going when someone can take his punches? So many question marks left there at the moment.
Never understand why these people go so over the top, especially here in the UK. Froch's comments are ridiculous.
Have we not learned from David Price?
I actually hope they don’t rush him. I’ve been very impressed with his punch selection and timing but there are still lots of boxes that need ticking before you put him in with the elite.
I don’t mind the Hrgovic fight next, largely because I don’t really rate Hrgovic offensively and he’s durable. I think that’s a good fight to get him rounds in the bank. The division is really shallow tbf, it’s difficult to match him.
The Usyk fight gives me Tito vs Vargas vibes.
I am genuinely totally baffled that he has fans.
A bumbling goof, can't box to save his life, get's all these massive opportunities he doesn't deserve on massive shows and doesn't even have the discipline to not stuff his face with junk food and come in in shape? And people like this? I don't get it.
I cannot stand the guy.
Yeah I’m the same. He’s probably a nice bloke outside the ring but he’s a complete waste of space when it comes to boxing. As you’ve just said, how many chances, paydays etc has he had already.
People are saying he beats everyone including Usyk. I've seen that said numerous times by current and ex boxers.
Carl Froch gives Wardley, Dubois, Fury or AJ "no chance" vs him.
I rate Moses he looks good but how many times will it take for people to learn? He currently hasn't fought anyone in the Top 10. The jury is out on him at this moment. Declaring the likes of these fighters have "no chance" vs him and he will beat Usyk is just wild.
We need to see him in with someone explosive who can put him on the back foot.
He clearly has the speed, accuracy, power and punch selection to get rid of the durable guys like Franklin. What we need to know is does he have the defensive skills and mental toughness when somebody puts it on him.
I was ringside when he lost to Lenroy fucking Thomas :lol1: Also when he got bashed in by a shot David Price.
I don't understand why a bum like him keeps getting these big fights :dunno: Loses to Makmudov he's not very good himself then gets rewarded with a stadium fight vs Hrgovic?
His whole career makes no sense. I half suspect they know he’ll lose at domestic level, so they put him in fights he has no chance in so the loss doesn’t hurt his credibility as much. Not that he has any credibility with avid boxing fans but the casual fans seem to like him. I’ve never really understood it, he seems a down to earth lad and he’s a tough kid but he’s absolutely terrible to watch and he literally cannot box. I genuinely think he probably smothers his own work on the heavy bag. :lol1:
“Falling just short of world level”. Hasn’t even won an area title and is 0-1-1 in Domestic title fights. Also lost to Frazer Clarke who himself is 0-2-1 in British title fights.
Bruh.......twice ?!?!?!
Check yourself into a mental/spiritual wellness facility.
When you're released, get your own money and worry about that. Hopefully it won't end as "tragically" as you dream May's situation has :(
Look at you straight back every time… you desperately need a social life that extends beyond your keyboard.
I think anyone with even a shred of intelligence can put 2 and 2 together here. You evidently can’t.
You also can’t answer a simple question… Do you own a TMT snap back hat?
You clowned yourself badly and making matters worse with these lame unsults.
The comment you should have quoted was this one -
"The fact Floyd is having to come back because he’s broke is absolutely tragic."
Not how I'd word a thread title created by assumptions :haha:
I would 1st have to ask what was my motivations for creating such a thread :greddy2:
When all you have is grammar and poor turn of phrase it really sums up your argument?
The evidence is obvious, business insider are usually on the pulse with these things too.
And regardless of what I think of Mayweather as a person I think it’s truly sad that the greatest and most commercially successful fighter of his era is having to come out of retirement at nearly 50 for a payday.
I wouldn’t expect a troll like you to have the intelligence or depth to understand that and your responses corroborates that theory.
I’ll sink to your level on this one… as there is one question you repeatedly keep avoiding, an that is:
Do you own a TMT snap back hat?

Deflect all you want
One thing you can't do is explain YOUR motivations behind this thread
Assumptions are facts, as YOUR TITLE suggests ????
Why do you keep avoiding the question?
Are you ashamed to admit you own a pair of TMT crew socks?
Do you prefer the TMT snap back or the TBE one? I ASSUME you own both.
Whatever that means
Just understand the difference between fact (the opposite of this thread) and assumptions (what this thread is all about).
Have someone proofread your future threads
You definitely own a TMT snap back don’t you?
Do you own the TMT crew socks as well?
I think he craves constant attention and validation, so probably rented the apartment on a whim as a 'flex'. Multiply similarly impulsive actions over the years and he's ended up here. I haven't followed him at all since he retired, but reading that article you posted where he's quoted on social media talking about 'haters' whilst posing with money shows he hasn't developed as a person at all. He probably still doesn't see any need to.
Yeah I agree. He desperately craves the limelight. Despite being an excellent fighter/athlete he’s a massively flawed human being.
This more recent article talked about him bouncing the rent on a $100,000pm luxury apartment. This by itself explains how he blew his cash. With all the properties he already owned, why was he wasting money on renting this in the first place?
Yeah it’s absolutely mental. Could be for SDLT or the US equivalent reasons, but seems highly illogical.
:lol1:
To the thread, it's the way for most of them. Sad that boxers just can't seem to keep their money historically.
Yeah it’s happened generation after generation. It’s crazy.
"I can’t stand Floyd, you dumb f***. :lol1:"
Opening post "I always rooted for floyd"
Fvkcing idiot :lol1::lol1:
Hey guys isn't it tragic a middle aged man spent almost a billion dollars in a few years and is financially irresponsible??
:rofl::rofl: stvpid fvkcing idiot
You can’t read you thick c***. :lol1: :lol1:
I wrote always rooted AGAINST Floyd you absolute f***ing re****.
How tf is it tragic? If you find a way to blow almost a billion dollars then that's on you.
Dont forget to wipe your mouth when you remove your tongue out his ass :lol1:
I can’t stand Floyd, you dumb f***. :lol1:
But this happened to Tyson, it happened to Robinson, it happened to Langford, if you wanna go back to the bare knuckle days it happened to Tom Molyneux 200 years ago.
I think it’s sad this is still happening to fighters in the 21st Century.
Where is the link stating his financial situation :dunno: ?!?!?

Since this article, he’s suing Showtime and PBC and he’s announced an ill advised comeback at nearly 50.
I think it’s pretty obvious at this point.
RJJ-94-02=GOAT I mean I'm not mad, I'm just...... disappointed in Floyd.
How do you even blow through that much money, if he loses his 0 he'll have no one to blame but himself because this should have many enough for him to live comfortably for several lifetimes without any additional income.
Yeah it’s just sad that this is still happening to boxers, this has been happening for over 100 years. They don’t know how to manage their money and they end up going back to the only thing they know.
Is there a bigger clown in boxing than John Fury?
The geezer is 70 years old screaming and shouting about how hard he is.
Nobody is scared of you, you absolute melt.
He’s been out of prison two decades and still hasn’t thrown a single punch. :lol1:
Waited until Froch was filming too, knows exactly what he’s doing. A complete fraud.
His book is incredible you know, I found it in an airport lounge a few years ago so started reading it. It’s complete fictional nonsense. There’s one story where a robber turns up at Big John’s home with a shot-gun. John doesn’t panic, he puts one hand on the barrel and knocks him out with the other. :lol1:
It gets better too… the next line then reads something like, “several hours later I went back outside and he was still lying there”. John then throws a bucket of water over him like it’s a f***ing cartoon and explains to the lad only cowards use guns, real men use their fists. :lol1:
Honestly mate, there was loads of sh** like this, absolute comedy gold.
Haney loses convincingly to both. You can see all the elite US amateurs have little respect for Devin. You’d see the same gap in levels you saw between Teo and Shakur.
