Alright. That performance from Usyk was so subpar, it had me questioning where the f**k was "The Cat" ? Yes, him. Catman from the Dubois 2 fight.. I thought was he purposely trolling us? Is he carrying Rico for entertainment and then to decide later on when to end it? Didn't he train or prepare for this fight? Where was that quick, bouncy, Usyk with feints, angles, lateral movement. I was like WTF!

I don't use the term weight bully, because if a man can make weight, he's within the rules of the sport. Fundora makes 154, so is he a bully because he was born tall with long arms? Heavyweights can be 205 lbs or 270 lbs, and still fight eachother. Bigger doesn't always mean better, it's what's inside of a man that matters more than sheer size. Some guys pack more lbs on after the weigh in, but that can sometimes work against them. Was Benavidez a weight bully when he moved up and beat Zurdo? Was Canelo's weight an advantage when he fought Bud? Everything depends on the individual. Benavidez is bigger than Canelo, but at the same time, he's also way faster, has way more stamina and throws way more punches than Canelo. Those are more legit reasons to avoid Benavidez than just his size alone. When Canelo moved up to fight an older, slower Kovalev, you wasn't this afraid for his health. Yup. I can see why Canelo avoided Benavidez. It's a bad style match-up, imo. You can add the physicality of sheer size and speed as well. Benavidez throws volumes of punches in combinations that is fast and powerful. He's also smart and selective with his shots, too. I think Canelo is wise to dodge him, haha. I can see why Benavidez wants the fight tho, it's a big money fight with Mexican heritage between the both guys. A few years ago he wanted the belts at 168, but obviously they don't mean jack now since he's plans on conquering 175lb and 200lb, but it's still a big money grab that would spark an interest to the Hispanic community.

Canelo loses gracefully. Against Mayweather, Bivol, & Bud- Canelo wore each one of those ass whippings like a man, and made no excuses. One person he's terrified of losing to though, is Benavidez. Because Canelo is a true student of boxing, and highly intelligent. And he knew that even if Mayweather, Bivol and Bud had a chance to beat him, that it probably wouldn't be by knockout, so he rolled the dice with them. But he knows if he loses to Benavidez, it could be a different type of loss than any he's ever experienced. Against Benavidez, a guy who would come in the shape of his life, and probably throw 100 hard, accurate punches per round, by the end of the fight, at a minimum, Canelo's face would be a swollen, bloody mess. It would be the type of face no one has ever seen on Canelo b4. At worst, he could get bludgeoned and/or knocked out and stopped. And for Canelo, he could never live with that type of beating, especially from another Mexican. Ah, well, you know what? Benavidez is never going to get that fight. He's a big fella and a weight bully, he last fought at 168lb in almost 3 years ago, btw. I think with the Bivol loss, Canelo came to the conclusion that size and weight classes do matter. In saying that, I do think Canelo avoided Benavidez and I feel he has every right, too.

With the Mayweather headbutt in 2011 and then later on his career, he quit against Berto, I think? People can critique him all they want because of his previous bouts with Joyce and Usyk, but the fact is UK fans will still pay to watch him fight says something. Dubois is actually a decent fighter - if you look at his resume he has an impressive one. Usyk is just on another fucking level.

I don't like Conor Benn because I've seen footages of him being an asshole to other boxers, seems like an egotistical maniac outside of the ring. Well, tbf, he's up there in terms of Top 5 or Top 10 Heavyweights atm. He is a lot better than what people give him credit for. Idk why people write him off so quick and easily. Benavidez has the higher boxing IQ of the two fighters and would find numerous openings. Jai is the natural cruiserweight - muscular and strong at the weight, Benavidez has a soft build at 200lbs but the power still appears to have carried up as has the hand speed, which going to cause problems for anyone there Last time I checked, that mfer Jai had the whole Cruiserweight division on the run. No one wanted to fight him, he was labelled as "The Boogeyman" in the division for a reason. Now he has moved to ZUFFA, got stripped off his IBF belt, he has nothing that "interests boxers." We are all entitled to our own opinions, and this match-up will be really close if they link up I think. I'll have to see how Benavidez adjusts into the CW division to have a prediction if the fight gets announced "officially" and Jai's recent form shall they keep and continue winning. If you're that confident, goddamn place a bet on it.

benavidez is around 6'2 Nah, that's what I thought as well - his wikipedia stated he is 6"2, but BoxRec and Tale of the Tapes say he is 6"0/184cm, which I think is deemed more accurate to his height.

Opetia didn't trouble Brandon Glanton and their fight went the distance. I don't think Glanton would make it past round 7 with Benavidez to be honest. I think Benavidez's subtle defence gets him through Opetia's best offence. I not be to sure if Opetia can weather Benavidez's best offence. What fight were you watching, numbed head? I can't remember what round it was, but did you not see the later rounds where he almost stopped Glanton? Not every fight needs a stoppage - it varies on the toughness and durability of your opponent. Despite no stoppage, I thought he and his team came up with a very strategic game plan against a tough foe; they showed me there is more to it. It's about being smart and not going all out chasing the K.O like in his previous fights.

Post-fight interview, he said he's looking to go back down to 175lb and chase Dimitry Bivol next for the belts there - he also mentioned wanting a fight with Canelo still with no mentions of Jai Opetaia.
