Huck will have a hard time finding Haye. He don`t know how to cut off the ring. His footwork is a joke. Haye will keep the distance, outside of punching-range and jump in with bombs everytime he pleased. An one-sidet affair.
As much I like Carl Froch, I don`t think he can beat Ward. Froch is certainly the bigger puncher, so what? Ward is not there to get punched in the face. He`s got actual a big toolbox and I`m sure he knows what tools he need to fix the Froch-Problem. Look at the P4P-List. You`ll find out that on the top of that list are skillful boxer and no Sluggers. Yoah, skills actualy count. The boxing-fan of today don`t appriciate skills. They are out for drama. They believe Rocky is real and a fight has to be like in a Rocky-Movie. The sweet science is not so sweet anymore. Maybe thi people should sticj by there movies or watch the UFC for there entertainment.
I realy believe that David Price has a mental/psychological problem. He`s insecure (about himself) and don`t know how do handle his emotions and fear in the ring. It`s true, everytime Tony opens up, Price was frozen stiff, unable to keep his composure and unsure how to deal with that situation. This is exactly the mental state that sucks all the energie out of a man. You need more than just a big frame, some power and technik to became a elite fighter. Look, B`Hop lacks speed and great punching power but he always knows exactly what he`s going to do. He knows how his opponent would move before they even think about it. But this is not David Price. I actualy like this dude but I don´t think he`s got what it needs to be a champion. The base, the foundations is layed out in a champion at a very young age. That is when you learn the mental and psychological aspects of the sweet sience. That is when you find yourself in all kinds of situations and when you learn to find a way out of it and turn it to your favor. THAT is what makes a champion!
I don`t understand all that hate about Wlad. He does what he needs to do, and that`s winning. Like any other fighter, he`s a business-man in the firsth place. Why do you think Wlad changed his coach (Fritz Sdunek) and took E. Steward? Because Steward teaches tall fighters with power but a glass-chin,( like Hearns, Lewis) how do win fights. It is that style what made him one of the best coaches in the world. Wlads left jab ist the best in HW right now. His right cross is also the best in the HW at the time. His punches are fast, precise and very powerfull. His footwork is also quit good. THAT`s why he is the champ! He moves very well for his size. Boxing= hit and not getting hit.
Boring? Maybe. But it is the job of the challenger to do something about it and not Wlads. As long he`s winning there`s no need to change his style.
Like it or not, but these are the facts. People say: If Wlad meets somebody of his size and power in the ring, his reign is over. Maybe right. But who is that guy? Please tell me.
Throw the strategy out the window
Force will be encountered by force.
Chavez will gladly engage and his left to the liver will surprise Sergio, he will abandon his plan and begin to run.
He will be caught and get slower and slower, the body punches are draining.
Chavez will begin to mock Sergio, He will have taken his best shots with no effect and begin walking Sergio down
about 9-11 shots to the jaw will take poor Sergio to the mat
He will come to his end and no one will help him.
Chavez the body puncher, sure....
Who exactly was able to hit Sergio to the body untill now?
Sergios stance makes it impossible for Chavez to find his body! Not to mention Chavez Slow-Motion-Style.
I agree, Chavez is a much better fighter than he was 2 years before, but still not good enough.
Chavez would have a chance, if he can take Sergios punch. But I don`t see that happen.
SERGIO BY KNOCK OUT!
Let`s take the emotions aside. Floyd is the King, like it or not, and the King alway get`s it his way. Stop crying and take it like it is. Canelo is not forced to the fight at gunpoint, right? So he got to know the risks involved. Canelo will outweight Floyd by nearls 20 Pounds at fightnight! Canelo is not as green as people like to say. Despite his age, he got 40+ fights under his belt. And thats what counts, in imo.
Canelo has his chance, if he starts realy fast and hit Floyd with some realy hard bombs. After two rounds Floyd`ll have figured out Canelos movements and looking ahead a smart fight. If he don`t make a big mistake he`s going to outbox Canelo. Canelo on the other hand, should press Floyd very hard for the firsth 3 rounds. If Floyd survives that 3 rounds, he should let Floyd come to him, like he did with Trout. Floyd is at his best, when he has the chance to counter his opponents. Let him walk into a big bomb. Canelo looked very mature in his last fight. He`s not just the slugger that I thought he is. Nothing more to say than: LET`S ROLL!
I don`t get caught in any hype that easy. I look at the facts and follow my experience in life. Canelo is a young and strong fighter. He`s got good punching power and a very good left hook. If you stay in front of him and don`t move well enough, you get knocked out! But with Mayweather it`s a complet diffrent story. Mayweather will put a ring through Canelo`s nose and guide him trough to arena like a tamed bear. Mayweather, love or hate him, is the best fighter of his era, period. Marquez is 100% right in his statement: Canelo is not ready to fight Floyd.
Imo he never will. He`s left outside, to play with the other boys, like that current version of Cotto. I still like him and I still like to watch him fight but I don`t buy that "savior of boxing or the next mexican heroe" s...t. Canelo would be very lucky if he can reach that high where the Marquez`s, Morales`s or Barreras`s of the world are residing.
Paulie is a very skillt boxer. He moves well and throws a lot of jabs. He`s not a hard puncher, but he throws a lot of punches. Broner is a lightweight, keep that in mind! His punching power might be good at lightweight, but is it still good at welter? He`s the much smaler guy this time and maybe Paulies power will be good enough to hurt him. Broner needs his feet to be set to develope punching power. Paulie will turn him, turn him all night, step around Broner and give him all kinds of angles. Paulie by U.D.
I agree 100%. Pacmans best asset is his speed and footwork. He got problems with skillt technichans, like Marquez. But his athletic abilitys com in very handy.
Nobody realy knows what Wilder has to offer. He`s an enigma to me. Yes, I know he`s got a very heavy right hand, thrown from distance. But that`s it.
I would like to see him going for six, seven rounds against a top ten opponent (like J.Banks?).
But it`s much to soon for a Wlad Klitschko. Or maybe not? I don`t know!
Nobody knows....
Rios`s style is no problem for Pacman. Coming in, straight, with no defence, throwing wide hooks is not the style to beat pacman. Ask marquez for some advice. He would say, you need a very good timing and a strong straight right hand to catch him on the way inside, or a quick right hand when the pacman is on the way out, after he has throwing his straight left on your chin. But i doubt that Rios can keep this in his mind.
This is a missmatch. Rios can´t handle fighters with footspeed. He squares of in front of Manny and starts brawling, but there will be no target to hit. Pacman just need to let Rios come to him. Let him running into big shots. Rios is not a smart fighter and only knows one way to fight. That´s way too little against a fighter with better technic, footspeed, handspeed and power.
Pacman vs GGG? are you kidding me? :bottle: Have you ever heart about weight-divisions and why they actual make sense?
Pacman vs Hopkins? You must be crazy! :purity: Who´s next? Klitschko?
