I have Clottey by Decision...this is another opportunity to do something at WW with another top guy...3 times the charm IMO. Clottey will put the pressure on Shane in this go around and if Shane looks for that one punch to knock out Clottey like Margarito he might fall behind on the cards and may never find the punch to knock Clottey out. Clottey has a serious beard but more serious is his defense and his handspeed. His handspeed was surprisingly better than I thought and made Cotto look slow in their fight. Looking for the upset in this fight.

Man I hate to sound like such a hater cause I respect Floyd's skills and abilities but he's just such a business man that I can't support his cherry picked fights enough to call him an ATG fighter. He is probably the most underachieved superstar I have ever seen. How the F*CK is Cotto the #1 welter?!? I'm a Cotto fan, but have you seen this guy's last several fights? Cotto was awarded the official decision in his fight against Shane. That fight was razor thin either way you scored it. I happened to score it for Shane. Shane went on to decisively beat the guy who KO'd Cotto. Cotto goes on to beat Jennings and then gets lucky against he game, but ultimately B-level Clottey. Shane is the top WW.

Cherry Picking is not wanting to fight the winner of Cotto v Pac...that would actually be a great fight and one that the fans could appreciate. Cherry picking is what Floyd just did and has been doing since moving up from lightweight. This is where all his criticism begins and until he faces a worthy opponent at welterweight the criticism will not end.
The thing with Mosley is that he called him out infront of the world and Floyd has been saying that he only fights guys that call him out (as of his last 2 fights.) Adding to the fact that Floyd looked shook when comfronted by Mosley and was stuttering his ass off...yeah that makes that call out by Mosley look as if he punked Floyd's ass on Global television. Why would you not want to face Mosley then take on the winner of Cotto v Pac for the overall champ of WW?

Floyd Mayweather would never fight JMM at the frantic pace that Diaz fought him with the risk of getting caught......I mean, he didn't even bring the heat against a Zab looking for every way out the fight..can we all agree that JMM is the best fighter Floyd has fought?.....JMM will probally lose, but it's not going to be easy...every time JMM is tested or he feels his blood, it's like he kicks it to another gear very few fighters can reach
I think a lot of us on the board would love for JMM to win this fight but the reality is that the cards are stack against JMM. Yeah Diaz was on a frantic pace but Mayweather will do far more damage without having to lose so much steam like Diaz. He will pick Marquez apart one shot at a time and if Floyd tags his left hook just like Diaz did JMM, would JMM still be standing? ...I think not because the barrage of punches Mayweather would throw after seeing JMM staggard would be precision shots aimed at taking JMM out of the game. Diaz had JMM staggered and didn't know how to follow up.

Cotto would maul hatton for several rounds and when he is done with the mauling he would decapitate his ass...Manny is a good puncher without a doubt but Cotto's power is unquestionable...he likes to punish opponents.
What I understand is that when you beat the man you become the man and Pacquiao is the man at this point not Floyd. If Cotto defeats Manny then he becomes the man especially after fighting all the top opposition at WW, which Floyd has yet to even tap into that market yet.
