I'm on the construction worker angle.
Joe "Hands of Steel" Smith
Joe "The Hammer/Jackhammer" Smith
Joe "Concrete/Steel Fists" Smith
"Just" Joe Smith(This would be funny)
IDK something along those lines. I also like Bazooka Joe.
Guess getting shot didn't change him that much. At the end of the video it seems to be Terrence saying something like "You actin' like you got somethin' what's up? you ain't got nothin'" Talking about guns I gather.
What!!! Everyone isn't the same?
I mean no **** man. But clearly the sport has moved over to more of a business than a sport in many many ways. And I think its beyond obvious there are less guys wishing to find out "who the best is" & more guys wishing to get paid as best as possible. You can act like its all the fighters fault, but the reality is the whole sport has shifted to a money model (4 champions/PPV) more than a who's the best model (1 champion/free TV) like there used to be in the old days. And the structure of that money model we have now makes it so that even the guys who wanna find out how good they are have a hard time doing that cuz there are all sorts of obstacles in making that happen with promoters, networks & alphabet groups standing in between them quite often.
All that you said is true, but the point remains about legacy. It matters to some fighters more than others even if you don't see value in it. If BJS was offered 1.5 million than that is more than fair for the "risk" imo. Maybe not to him, but that ain't peanuts. And there are still fighters that would do it just for the chance to get the fight.
Just getting asked for pictures when you are out with your family eating dinner 15yrs after you retired mostly. Legacy is overrated. In particular by guys who've never been punched in the head for money.
It's a sport, even if now they're making it more business. That means wanting to find out who is better than the other. Believe it or not that means something to a lot of fighters. Not every fighter is going to be making the kind of money that they believe they deserve because most of the money comes from the people.
Nobody values Billy taking on Golovkin enough for him to make so much money. It's simply about if he feels he can win. If not than maybe he is looking to sell his 0 for the right amount.
He says "1 half million..." Could it be 500k? He didn't say 1 AND a half million. If it's 500k then I sorta see his point, but at the end of the day legacy has to count for something.
Watching the Fight Game some things he said bothered me. Before he gave his P4P list he prefaced it by saying how it was "a snapshot" of current standings and how there was no emeritus status. Then he went on and named Ward number 2 with excuses about how Jack Dempsey went 2 years without a fight.
What an A$$.
Are you guys reading? It's another play on words. "Manny agreed to take unlimited DRUG tests". It said nothing about unlimited blood and urine tests. Unlimited urine tests is drug testing. Arum and Pac have done this in the past to mislead people and it's working again. Believe nothing from that team until they put it on paper.
It wasn't 1lb. It was 2lbs. Cotto weighed in for Clottey at 146 yes. But he didn't stay at 146. It's not like he was walking around at 146 and only had 1 more pound to lose in his training camp leading to the Pac fight. He gained weight back and every training camp is a new struggle to make weight.
Should Cotto have been able to weigh-in comfortably in his next fight after Pac at 144? It's only 1 more pound than his previous fight right?

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/video_cache_view.html
It says no need to install. If anyone else can give it a shot.
Using VideoCacheView
VideoCacheView doesn't require any installation process or additional DLL files. In order to start using it, simply run the executable file (VideoCacheView.exe)
After running VideoCacheView, it scan the cache folders of your Internet Explorer and Mozilla browsers, as well as the temporary folder of Windows. Wait 5 - 30 seconds until the scanning process is finished, and the main window of VideoCacheView should display all the video files that are currently in cache.
After the video list is displayed, you can use one of the following options, assuming that the video files are stored in the cache ('In Cache' = Yes):
Play Selected File: Allows you to play the video file directly from the cache, assuming that you have a video player that is configured to play .flv files.
Copy Selected Files To: Allows to copy the video files from the cache into another folder, so you will be able to play them in the future.
The video is private now. Did anyone download it? I had it going but decided to watch what Danny said first to put things in context.
If you already watched it, there is a program called "MozillaCacheViewer" you can download that will search your cache for the video that you can save.
Surprised people favored Hasegawa in this. Montiel was the proven fighter here. I had no doubt he would stop Hasegawa. I did think it would be later in the fight.
I hope people were not excited about the first 3 rounds as if Hasegawa was dominating the fight. They were both not doing much and there was only 1 round seperating them on the cards.
Hasegawa is still a good fighter at the top of the division. He just met a better fighter in Montiel. There is still some great match-ups for Hasegawa.
I wonder what happened to the "end of June" agreement. Meaning both Kovalev and Ward couldn't take fights past June. How long will Ward have to take another interim fight?
Arum is already dooming this. It could've been realistic as a $30 HD PPV, but talking about "no more than $50" is unrealistic.
I like the fight but, it's not the top 2 fighters at Jr Welter. Crawford has no win that looks better than Postol's win over Matthysse. But the winner will definitely be seen as the man at 140.
Was hoping for a better fight. Triple G didn't start trying to win until the 8th. Up until then he hardly threw anything but the jab. Canelo had a guy in front of him not throwing anything for all that time and couldn't do a thing with him. I imagine GGG knew he couldn't keep an active pace so he was waiting for that long where Canelo usually gets tired himself and slows down(which Canelo did slow down). Didn't work out because Canelo still was less tired than GGG. Both should have done more.
"I get knocked down, but I get up again." - Leonard Ellerbe
That was hilarious!! What of joke Ellerbe is. He truly is Floyd's Buboy. And that jackass gets up acting tough. You better believe he was in a rush to get involved in the trash talk just like he did with Rosado. He better know his place before somebody put him in it.
Also, I just noticed as soon as Ellerbe fell down, it was Al Haymon who came to escort Floyd away.
I don't know what to think about that. That punch that rocked him the round previous wasn't a pitty pat punch. It rocked Rosario to his boots and maybe he thought better of it in the next round and took the easy way out.
