No nothing
These pbc bum champs shouldn't call themselves champ. Who have they fought .they think just holding the belts hostage makes them great it's Embarrassing.
Lopez just exposed a pbc bum champ. Anyone with (real) champ level stamina and speed would have murdered Thurman tonight and closed the show.
Here we go with the bum talk. Stop disrespecting the sport. You should excuse yourself from further commenting...go watch UFC. Extreme spectator here......
It used to be a champion was about finding a way to win. He didn't have to destroy, or hurt his opponent, only show he was better and keep going for what lies ahead.
Now its a popularity contest about who can look the best... "Oh my goodness!" Thurman did not kayo this guy!!!! hes done!!! pac would destroy him!!! Because against the flat footed Broner pac looked so good!
The irony is that a poster like Larry, who probably watched the fight carefully and probably can see little nuances about how Thurman actually is coming along...while many posters just look at the fight, while grabbing the cheetos, beer and pizza, listen to the commentators who have to drum thing up... and repeat what they have heard. Bottom line: Thurman has been consistent and found a way to win with no caveats. The middle divisions in boxing have the most people coming in. Even when the division is not as quality as other times, there is a lot of competition for top billing.
Nice points but bad comparison, Broner is athletic has hell not flat like Lopez.......
Athletic doesn't equal Good
Broner also fights out of the pocket, does not move, prefering to try to counter, often off the back leg. That makes him flat footed. That and the major critiscism that he uses manuveors like the Philly shell the wrong way by not moving correctly, again, a lack of footwork.
I would even question any contention that Broner is an athletic fighter: he throws few punches, does not move well, if at all... Does not fight going bacwards... I mean he has fast hands and he makes wonderful noises when he occasionally llets a punch fly.
So what makes Broner athletic in any way what so ever?
We obviously have a different definition of what athleticism means. To me it needs no explaining at all, Broner is athletic. Now his right IQ and strategy/tactics are another story....
Ward has always struck me as very effeminate in the way he talks about other fighters.
Bro, what? This statement is pretty weak and, well, "effeminate"
Lara is the ultimate high risk low reward fight. He has no belt and Charlo wouldn't gain much by beating him. Any smart manager would keep his fighter away from Lara. I get that you're looking at this from a fan perspective but if Charlo loses to Lara he loses a lot and if he wins he'll just be beating a guy Hyurd already beat.
Smart assessment
It's a business people, Spence will have the leverage in money talks when they do fight. He have the three belts and hold the cards.... everything else about "ducking", yada yada yada, is just noise...
Crawford is obviously loyal but it made no sense for him to resign with Arum without at least talking with Haymon. He would've been right in the mix. Bad business decision. O well. There's a reason guys like Floyd, Garcia, PAC jumped ship from Arum to Haymon, it seems he has fighters financial health in mind. Who could be mad at that, objectively speaking. We all know the politics sucks but until there is some sort of central governing body like all other major sports to dictate things, this is the reality. Lobby your congressman I say! Lol
That’s such a joke! I could easily cycle on tren/testosterone ... miss the drug test. Cycle off take my test, pass, cycle back on then miss my second drug test. The rule should be miss one you’re positive
Here's the thing, testing is random! As in not scheduled! Guys are getting caught you know?
If a test was missed what would prevent a surprise visit soon after?
Exactly
SMH at a 5'7 middleweight trying to weight drain a LHW so he doesn't have to fight at the legitimate weight and can claim he's some kind of multi-division champion.
Exactly....Canelo's the one who sought out Kovalev, you fight at 175 you fair game.
Really?
I'd be a two division, three-time world champion. So, I thought it was a great idea to do, so we did it.”
what an empty hollow career. he's counting this fight as a championship fight lol.
25 year old champion on the verge of mega stardom, yeah run of the mill cause like every other fighter achieves this by age 25... so so hollow
You ain't saying nothing
Basically pbc has all of goldenboys previous fighters and have done nothing with them. They basically gutted what was the best promotional company at the time by far, and did nothing by water it down and turn it to shat. They have yet to make superstars and are a let down in everyway. They let the public down, the fighters and the business of boxing as a whole.
C level fights and b level fights that failed to level up.
What's that? Blah, blah, blah, blah...uh huh, ok
2 clowns
We finally agree on something man!
It does look gay as fucc!
Gay bashing to reaffirm your masculinity is old bro, we have evolved....and it's suspect
You know where to find that quote from Hearn anywhere by any chance about 50 million being legit? Need to bookmark it for future reference.
At this point Eddie's defense is that the money is real but where's the contract....he's a master game player. Look no further than how he's handled Jacobs. Trash product. And why aren't Kelly and Khan finally fighting?!!! They're both under Hearns
is this really how black guys talk ? cause coming from another country it just comes accross as ****ing pathetic the whole gangsta talk thing is lame.
What does this mean Mr. clown? ....Once again you people take the interactions of two individuals who are fueding and attribute it to the entire race. Time and time again. It's certainly envy. Meanwhile I bet you subscribe to the actions of the egotistical "leader" of the free world.
Adorable
《UNLEASH THE CANELO》
CANELO's gonna crack & obliterate Charlo's chin. CANELO's viscious , violent & brutal body shot's will make Jermall puke out all those bums he's been feasting on. 🤢🤮
CANELO turns lions into ducks. 🦁=🦆
CANELO #1 P4P & #1 @ 160
Wow very cute
Breadman knows best
Love the breadman articles. The only thing on BS i look forward too. However, i disagree on jacobs vs GGG rematch. One big thing getting overlooked is jacobs played the weigh in game and came in as a LHW and still lost. In a rematch theyll both be at same level and thats not good for jacobs obviously since he even went down as a LHW againstGGG. Canelo just cant beat GGG. And Charlo is the easiest fight of them all. Easy to hit and outbox and gets ko'd within 7 rds
Jacobs came in as a LHW, are you regurgitating rumors or facts? What was his weight on fight night? You go on to conclude that they would be at the "same level" in a rematch, care to explain? Charlo is easiest of them all? I highly doubt that. Your a big GGG fan which is cool, but
Breadman gave u the knowledge so take it
Hard to believe they strip him cause a guy with 12 fights deserves a shot. His best win is against Tureano Johnson who hasn’t beat anybody and Sam Soliman who was 42 years old at the time. GGG should’ve just made quick work of this guy to. He basically lost his title trying to negotiate a fight with Canelo. Now he’ll never unify he should just fight Charlo and show he’s either the baddest mofo in the division or he’s not.
Wrong, he was stripped CAUSE he did not adhere to the conditions set forth by the IBF, simple.....too bad for GGG, his work is cut out for him. I agree with the statement about Charlo, GGG needs to show everybody what it is
Say What
That's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is I feel only black people would think that Jacobs fight with Triple g is more of a clear win than Canelo's win vs Triple g in the rematch.
I didn't see Canelo get dropped by Triple g. I didn't see Triple g's face busted up after the Jacobs fight the way his face was busted up in the Canelo rematch.
I understand you're probably black and you're gonna ride with your own and nothing wrong with that but at the same time you gotta keep it real.
Jacobs should of gotten the rematch vs Triple g. I took Jacobs against Triple g and I lost money on the fight.
I had it a one point win for Triple g cause of the knockdown.
I also had Triple g winning the first Canelo fight.
And yes I do feel Jacobs deserves the Canelo fight. I've been saying that for weeks now.
It'll be a great fight and I hope they do fight in May cause it's a close fight that either fighter can win.
You feel "only black people" would feel that way huh? That's a very uninformed statement, but you should prove this theory. Clearly you haven't considered that Jacobs has non black fans who are biased in his favor or that someone could simply believe DJ outboxed GGG over Canelo judging on a work rate basis. Myself, a super black (did I trigger a deeper disdain than usual with that?), believes that Canelo's 2nd win was flashier and stronger than DJs effort, he engaged more whereas DJ used his footwork. Canelo was also there to be hit more because he was the aggressor..... anyway, I ride with "my own" unapologetically, but I also like and appreciate "other" fighters too, and have the ability to be objective. Who would have thought a black could do that? Me, a super one.
Clueless
Floyd was a small guy at the bigger weights so him not KOing another smaller guy wasn't surprising. He made a living on outclassing most guys he faced. Spence has been a wrecking machine and I had him at number 2 pfp because he always performed and got guys out of there and over-achieved most times. Him facing a smaller guy who I felt Spence was better than in every way going in, not getting a KO is disappointing to me.
If GGG had gone 12 rounds with Brook and Brook was basically just in there to survive I would have killed GGG for that. If Thurman or Spence or whoever at WW came up and faced GGG or Canelo at 160 and did the same thing I would be similarly disappointed all around. The smaller guy just survived and showed no skills, and the bigger guy couldn't even put the smaller guy out with 12 rounds to do it.
I still like Spence and rate him high but sounds like this is his first disappointing performance to me. I already knew he was going to win and was all around better than Mikey. But if he can't get a smaller, not as good guy out of there with 12 rounds. I mean it takes some of the shine off of him for me.[/QUOTE
You have no clue, this was a boxing clinic. And to think, Mikey was the "superior" boxer. You probably gave Mikey a chance to win now you saying this is a disappointing win for Spence....
We would be very very very very happy
I've got a feeling Charlo fans are gonna **** themselves if this fight gets made, imagine if after all the **** they've talked canelo makes easier work of a prime Charlo than he did golovkin. Or i will piss myself laughing if Charlo gets robbed after the crap his fans have spewed recently
Charlo vs Canelo let's good!!!!!
Pac cheerleader
Jesus Christ you can definitely tell who knowledgable boxing fns are. Those complaining that there was a robbery should be buried alive and have to watch this fight over and over until they expire. Pac landed the more damaging blows, owned the ring and made Thurman fight his fight.
I just watched the fight, no dog in this race. I had Thurman winning, he dictated the pace much of the fight, walked pac down, boxed well on the move. Pac got plenty touched especially with right hands. Pac fought very well in spurts. Close fight but clear win for Thurm.
Love just showed you that he's not shot. Not at his prime anymore clearly but make no mistake he's a strong boxer. Canelo might get his face jabbed off and stopped late.
Hurd took a lot of shots in hunting down Trout. He sacrificed his body because he could afford to, he couldn't outbox Trout so he wore him down. Trout didn't get alot of clean looks at Charlo...
