From Mayweathers last 4 opponents 3 had to come from 135 or 140 to fight him, while the other one was old Mosley. All I have to say is that Lupe Pintor should not be talking about when a boxer should retire, because he never retire on time. A career of 21 years, a boxer who lost 14 bouts (7 of those by TKO or KO) in his career. He didn't know when to retire, he went 3-7 in his last ten matches losing his last by KO, so who is he to talk about when any boxer should retire. Oh, and remember some of those fight were 15 rounds. He should have retire when he got KO by Manuel Vasquez in 6 in 1979 and he didn't or he should have retire in his TKO lost to Wilfredo Gomez in 1982 but he didn't. He retire in 1995.

I know Mayweather is a great boxer, yet, his victory over Marquez was a joke. Marquez had weighted between 130 and 135 pounds only 4 times in his career (134, 133.5, 135 and 134.5) and that is out of 56 career fights. Mayweather needs to be fighting people like Shane Mosley, Andre Berto, Miguel Cotto, even a fight with Clottey will give Mayweather a better fight than a fight with another lightweight. So c'mon people let just demand Mayweather to fight some real welterweight so that we can call him the best of the business. Now that his back he should fight all this other great fighters but from the same division (welterweights), no light welterweights nor lightweights.

Paul Williams is a really good boxer and puncher and that been said; there is no way that any of the smaller guys like Floyd, Cotto, Pacquiao, Berto, or even Mosley will face him. I don't think that there is anybody in the light middleweight that wants to face him either, if there's one guy that will face Paul it may be Carlos Quintana but Paul won't give him the rubber match and its all because of the big money fights. Although there are few names that Paul could take a look at like Kermit Cintron, Sergio Martinez or Daniel Santos in the light middleweight I don't see it happening again because of big money fights. If Paul beats Pavlik more reason for the smaller guys not to fight him, so Paul will have to campaign in the middleweight and super middleweight and even if he loses to Pavlik, Paul will still have a hard time landing a fight with the big names in the welterweight class. Paul should forget about the little guys and stay in the middleweight, imagine if he beats Pavlik, he could be fighting the winner of the Taylor vs Abraham, he could fight Felix Sturm and take his tilte very easily and there are guys like Carl Froch, Lucian Bute and Mikkel Kessler. Remember that he had to fight Andy Kolle, Verno Phillips and Winky Wright because he could not land the fights that he wanted the most in the welterweight so he had to settle for those fights. Paul is young, strong and with lots of talent, that is why nobody wants a piece of him in the welterweight or light middleweight and soon will see if the same will happen in the middleweight if he beats Pavlik.
