I started another thread earlier discussing the same thing. Rafel said that "Floyd wants to compete at 140". I don't know if that means for this fight or in the future.
I think you answered the question on your own. He knows better than us how easy it is to negotiate with these guys and get them to change weights so I'll trust that he's doing whatever's in his best interest. Maybe he wants to avoid the powerful guys since he's aging. And,if his legs are going, being lighter helps with that, a lot.
Good Points
Floyd's too old to drop down to 140, he hasn't fought there in 8 years. Weight drained Floyd would get KO'd for sure by the heavy hitters there.
It would definately be a suprizing move and one that I agree may have a negative effect on Mayweather. Let's see how this develops, as someone else has confirmed the statement.
Mayweather
Mayweather has my vote. I need to see Rigo in with a few more fighters with varying styles before I can place him above Money May. Rigo is a special talent as well.
joan guzman is at the bar with a hamburger in his hands.
andre dirrell is in shaw hi's office, talking about the nightmares he has about arthur abraham.
ike ibeabuchi, a talented HW, is still in prison.
Fun Fact, Ike Ibeabuchi has actually been released from prison.
I was thinking the same thing. Murray looks to have trained like a monster for this fight. Should be a decent scrap. I hope Sergio is focused being home and all.
California Gun Laws
Let's close the door on the assumption that he brought the gun from Cali. High Capacity mags are already illegal there. I would be suprised if the made it through the airport with two of them.
