I know i sent you a personal message earlier, but like i said Pinto and Baileys didn't use their heighth to their advantage. Harris does taking nothing away from Cotto he's a champion and nobody has proven to take that from him yet, and yes his last performance against Baileys was quite impressive i just think that Harris is a better fighter. My opinion
I don't think that Oscar would have much of a problem going down to the Welterweight division, he looked so small as a middleweight, but man i give him credit he is a big welterweight and he will whoop Spinks butt when he gets down there!
The real facts
Wlad had just punched himself out. In boxing you don't just throw your shots you have to be economical, something that a prefessional prize fighter should know, this is especially a cardinal rule in the heavyweight division. When you look at the tape you see how many times that Wlad's punches hit gloves or missed completly. When you box you want to take the open shots and occasionally throw flurries. Another example of a fighter punching himself out basically to a point where he was knocked out both from punishment and fatigue would be Fernando Vargas when he fought De La Hoya.
No excuse Wlad just punched himself out, he has to be more economical!
Johnson no Journeyman
Glen Johnson isn't a journeyman, i know that most of you already know that but there is a point that i want to make to those who aren't hardcore boxing fans. With 9 losses on his boxing record most people do think that he will be a push over, he was robbed on a few of the matches, he admits that the only night that he thought that he couldn't beat a man now or never was Bernard Hopkins. He also said that on four other occasions he didn't feel well going into the fights. Have respect for the man he will bring a lot to the table when he fights Antonio win or not!
that is a great point, when i fight i don't throw many flurries, only when they can be counted, i take my time and land the cleaner more effective shots, more like what Mosley did to De La Hoya in their last fight when De La Hoya looked practically wounded at the end of the fight!
TIto would knock out Ouma
Did anybody watch the fight between Ouma and Phillips? Phillips caught Ouma with awkward shots that Ouma walked through except a couple. Trinidad would take Ouma out. That night when Ouma out-pointed and outhustled Phillips he looked like he was just going through the motions, even though he did this he eventually got to phillips and made him look like the ordinary fighter that he is! If there is a match between tito and Ouma i think that the fight would stop at around the 10th and sooner. Nothing against Ouma of course this is just speculation of mine. :D
What kind of aquisation is that? Tito isn't a winky anymore becuase he passed that stage in his 20th fight, Winky isn't near Trinidad's level right now, if they fight the outcome for winky will not be pretty! considering shane doesn't punch near as hard as tito, shane didn't have the heighth either. It will be proven when they fight, winky isn't gonna with stand punches from tito especially how quick tito is. He's demanding more money to so that he can go out rich in his demise!
Sanders
Sanders, when he comes back he will fight in the top competition eventually, but if he comes back in shape i think that he has a chance at becomming heavyweight champion. The division is open right now but only if Sanders can capitalize on the oppurtunity he will be successful, even if he can in better shape against Klitschko i think that he would have caught vatali down the stretch because he has bad conditioning. Sanders has the heart of a champion showed in the Klitschko fight but now he needs the desire.
