i don't trust bayless in a fight of this magnitude. floyd just needs to push pacquiao down and it's scored a knockdown. bayless completely incompetent.
can't trust him for this fight. not one bit. too old, and too incompetent.
You're an idiot. Please stop. Just more excuses when Manny loses.
Honestly cannot picture Mayweather losing this fight. I can't see Pacquiao winning this in any scenario. Hope it turns out to be a good fight at least.
What a surprise :lol1:
Floyd looked his age last night. He was slow and sluggish and barely beat an 18-1 underdog. "Easy work!"
Who says he was an 18-1 underdog? Sportsbook had him at 7 to 1 before the fight.
Is Floyd way past his prime? Yes. Is he slower and easier to hit now? Yes. Do i think a fight with Manny would be competitive? Yes. Did Maidana's style had something to do with him not looked his best? Absolutely. I've said it before , some guys on here do get caught up in the moment too much after every fights. We've discussed about Floyd being shot since 2011, but he's still winning fights, although, he hasn't looked great in his last two fights.
He's almost 38 and fought twice against a guy whose style makes everyone uncomfortable. Weak era or not, Floyd is still sharper mentally and arguably physically than, Pernell Whitaker, Ray Leonard were at the age of 37. Manny is easier to catch on the way in, and he's not as physically strong to man-handle Floyd the Maidana did. Styles make fights, i still think a past prime Floyd still has enough gas in the tank to beat a past prime, Pacquiao.
Agreed. Maidana's style a lot tougher for Floyd and it's not even close. Floyd a decent sized favorite over Pacquiao and basically everybody else that's left.
if I recall he was 11-1 by decision and higher than that " To win"
He was actually -270 to win by decision. The Money line I think closed at -800. Obviously still a high line but what do you expect when you're the best? He would be a favorite against any fighter.
he would probably be 3-1 or 4-1 vs Pacquiao, Porter, Bradley, Lara, Molina
of course only one of those fights would sell over 1m buys, it isn't about matchups or risks
we already knew this with the Ortiz, Guerrero, and initial maidana selections
granted those three weren't money fights either, but they could be sold based on bull**** "rankings"
Those rankings don't tell the truth though, they don't tell you how competitive a fight will be
I think Floyd would only be about -200 vs Pacquiao by the time the fight started. Could see a lot of people taking him. Which I think would be a bad bet.
The Cherrypick is taking the fight that you're expected to win. Floyd was 18-1 ON to win.
Just because Maidana performed far better than expected doesn't erase the fact that Floyd choose The biggest name with the easiest style for him.
It was a Cherrypick - deal with it, you ignorant Dipshit.
What are you talking about? Not even close.
Floyd doesn't need to be fighting guys who are greater than 6-1 underdogs
I hold Floyd to a higher standard and his supporters should as well
Well Maidana is only +525 right now. The line will probably drop too just like last fight.
