Spence broke the other eye socket. Try again.
Lets not overlook the beating he took from GGG, idc if he landed his share of shots; the man got his face caved in. A beating like that don’t just go away. Also, never did I say he broke the same eye. Since GGG, Brook will never be the same.
One good win (Brook) who schooled Thurman's other big win (Porter).
Yea but that was a healthy Brook that fought Porter. The fact of the matter is Spence beat a broken Brook. Spence is the Truth but still has to prove it some more.
"It cuts so deep. I've boxed all my life, and there's no quit in me, but I couldn't see.
"I was seriously injured. And when you've got children? When the surgeon said one more big shot from Golovkin and you'd be blind? You still don't want to stop, but Spence knew I was a wounded animal." -Kell Brook
Doesn’t matter which eye, that **** stays with you. He’s now a broken man.
Excuses excuses. Now a taste of your own medicine. Here goes...
"Yeah but many people thought that Porter won the fight with Thurman and some thought it was a draw. Thurman is for real but still has to prove it some more."
I’m not defending any of the welterweights of today bc none of them have a great resume at the welterweight division; I am agreeing with the list because, out of all the welterweights of today excluding PAC Man, Thurman has the best resume in welterweight division.
What was unhealthy about Brook when he fought Spence?
GGG broke his eye bone. Immediately got surgery and went on straight to another monster and broke it again. GGG handed Brook a career altering injury. Brook still talented but any puncher can break his face again.
I don't believe Jacobs is in their level. In a rematch with GGG, I see GGG winning more clear. I think Jacobs won't respect GGG as much and will likely be knocked out bc he don't have a solid chin or Canelo's defense. As far as Canelo goes, this was his first REAL fight at 160, and against the best and most dangerous. He will only get better with time. Jacobs is B level at best, and naturally bigger than the division, where Canelo is on the come up. Plus above all, styles makes fights; for example Chino did better against Mayweather than Canelo did; would that make him better?... he1l no
Close fight, I had Canelo winning 4 of the first 6 or at least an even split. 7,8,9 was GGG. All of the championship rounds, 10,11,12 I had Canelo winning. I seen an nonstop aggressor in GGG, out jabbing but missing his significant power shots, sometimes landing them but just not landing clean enough. GGG walked through Canelo's power shots but nonetheless Canelo's shots was more significant and more crisp. Therefore, I had Canelo wining a tough 7-5 win or a draw at the least. Great, competitive fight, and already looking forward to the rematch.
I’m expecting a very entertaining fight. Can go either way. A few years ago I would have picked Ortiz to take it easily now it’s a pick’em fight. I can’t wait. No matter who wins, I can’t see it going past 7 rounds.
After Floyd beats McGreggor, and if Canelo beats GGG; a rematch with Floyd will be huge. I still see Floyd winning that fight, just not as easily. Which is why that'll be a big risk for Floyds record; just remember the schooling on the first fight and look how he got a draw on a scorecard.
It might be a fight against Bradley. It was talked about before, Bradley even said he'll go to 154 for that fight. Aside from fighting one of these young lions, it's makes the most sense and most marketable before setting it up with Canelo again
