If Jacobs is a B level fighter then is Canelo a C level fighter?

I'd agree with you that Jacobs is a B, B- fighter, in the same category as Golovkin. Canelo is better, with a B+. These days, there aren't really any truly great/elite A or A+ fighters anymore (with the exception of maybe Andre Ward). I'm not counting the up and comers like Spence, Usyk, Crawford, Davis, etc.. They still have a lot more to prove. That's understandable. I feel we use the 'eye test' a little too much without using resume.

You won't get any conclusive outcome when it comes to anything that relates to lil G, as haters refer to him as. Jacobs is B level when it's about denigrating GGG's win. He's suddenly A level when it comes to exposing GGG. Haters must be tired of trying to come up with something to hate "lil G" on.

They're both on the same level. Jacobs size, reach, and athleticism worked better against Golovkin. Canelo did better boxing Golovkin. Jacobs had more success but he also had a solid game plan. Canelo's game plan was get to the ropes and attempt to rope a dope.

I don't believe Jacobs is in their level. In a rematch with GGG, I see GGG winning more clear. I think Jacobs won't respect GGG as much and will likely be knocked out bc he don't have a solid chin or Canelo's defense. As far as Canelo goes, this was his first REAL fight at 160, and against the best and most dangerous. He will only get better with time. Jacobs is B level at best, and naturally bigger than the division, where Canelo is on the come up. They are both A level fighters. Most of the fighters discussed on this board are all A level fighters with maybe a few B's mixed in. Some of the guys you people call bums or C level fighters is astounding.

Canelo would beat Jacobs. Jacobs is a good fighter who simply survived, Canelo at least won some rounds.

Jacobs kept himself in the fight. Canelo didn't.

Jacobs is an A level fighter. So is Canelo. That being said I think Jacobs beats Canelo. No question there. The size difference would be comical.
