This guy’s in both shock and denial. He’s got two conspiracy theory threads on the go, one saying Rico was on ped’s and the other saying that the only reason most people think Usyk was losing is because of the commentary. He’s then ironically calling anyone who disagreed with the refs stoppage a conspiracy theorist. I think he’s one of the lizard people.
There's also one that the entire fight was a WWE esque script funded by the Italian Mafia (or some other entity with money)
Hrgovic-Itauma? Yes please. I would support that. What a chance for Itauma to either silence all critics, or for Hrgovic to drop a chaos bomb on the HW division.
It's been confirmed that both Itauma and Hrgovic both signed contracts to fight on August 8th before the Dave Allen fight, as long as Hrgovic comes out without any damage or injury.
Hrgovic had a slight small cut on his eye after the fight, he said in a post fight interview he still wants it in August but his manager Keith Connley didn't seem too keen on it.
So, it may not be Hrgovic due to that. They were alluding to wanting more time.
I responded here, keep the discussions separate. Why are you so reluctant to unpack your conspiracy theory, afraid of getting laughed at?

Some cool conspiracy stuff in this thread regarding this fight.
Must be a perception thing. I watched live and was getting irritated because the commentary seemed obviously to be pushing a narrative that just wasn't happening. The official scorecards seemed about right. But of course, to many on here, the officials were bought off/somehow manipulated in real time for some unknown reason.
I really struggle to see an even scorecard going into the 11th. I agree there were quite a few close rounds but I think Rico was doing the better work in almost all of them.
I had it 7-3 Rico going into the 11th.
This is one of the many reasons I ****ing hate these gimmick crossover fights. Theres always a risk it ends up making the boxer look bad.
We are now in a position where the two best HWs of their era have BOTH been in contentious arguable robbery situations against a guy from a different ****ing sport. Its just ****ing embarrassing and I think will always cloud the division when its looked back on.
And while Usyk may have gotten old, he was fighting a guy less than 2 years younger than him who has almost 80 fights worth of mileage from kickboxing.
Definitely doesn't look good for the sport when someone from a different sport can walk in and perform like that vs the #1 fighter in the world.
It's slightly nuanced as Rico CAN fight. He's trained boxing with Peter Fury for 15 years. He kick BOXES.
But of course, your point still stands. It's why I'm with you on not being a fan of them.
Didn't read the article but there's a number of potential reasons why Usyk struggled in this fight;
1. Usyk is 39 years old
2. Usyk hasn't fought since last July
3. Rico has 30 lbs on him and is a genuine giant human being and very athletic for a guy his size
4. Rico was clearly the much stronger man of the two
5. Usyk didn't know what to expect to Rico as he's never boxed before (outside of 1 fight)
6. Usyk likely overlooked him
7. Usyk came in his career heaviest (see #6)
8. Rico has an extremely awkward and unorthodox style
He wasn't "found out" there's just a number of moving parts as to why what happened happened.
All credit for Rico, what an incredible guy.
My record, personal info.
Of course it matters. YOU brought it up :lol1:
You randomly inserted an argument from authority here, nobody else.
If you're going to do that you damn sure better show us your credentials.
So how may pro fights have you had?
I'm not threatening you I am simply saying we can spar or fight, its not a big deal. My record could be 0-80 and my name Joe Bloggs or Cynthia and I still know I could beat your ass and you're too much of a coward to **** with me and I'd be right. Why you asking it changes nothing, you can type whatever and be a smart arse, take whatever roids, do all these things but know you're a hoe that would never step to me in person.
OOOOOoooOOOOO you're hard mate. Nails aint ya you :lol1: What do you think you sound like, honestly?
You just said you're not threatening me and proceeded to threaten me in the very next sentence ya daft fool :lol1:
Are you drunk? Lay off the shandys pal. You've had enough for one day and now you sound like an idiot.
I don't care for being a boxing scholar or internet scholar or whatever, I learned many years back respect in the boxing community not that I even class this as such is earned from not going against the grain or telling the truth but merely by saying what people want to hear.
You do care, that's why you're crying about it.
Sadly for you, like I said, nobody considers you that.
I'm saying anyone with proper money has influence in boxing or any sport. Everyone has a price these days, most peoples isn't even much.
So who wrote the scripts out for Usyk and Rico, is what I'm asking.
How could they have discovered the earth was any shape back then with no telescopes, rockets or advanced technology?
You don't need "advanced technology" to know that the Earth is not flat but again, not discussing something as patently obvious as the Earth not being flat on a boxing internet forum.
Look up the name "Aristotle" on google and how he observed the fact that Earth cannot be flat as early as 350 BC and you'll get some answers there. Amongst an almost never ending plethora of other demonstrable evidence since.
I am genuinely kinda curious.
So I buy one of these telescopes then what, what do I point it at that proves the earth isn't flat?
What you'd do is you'd take your new telescope to any number of observatories in the UK and you can observe the other Planets that we know exist from there and you can see they are objectively not flat and deduct that the Planet we are on isn't either combined with the mountains of evidence to conclude that that could fill 100 Olympic swimming pools probably.
Maybe the earth isn't flat, I honestly haven't a damn clue but I would be interested in seeing for myself one way or the other. Frankly it doesn't make any difference to me what shape the thing is but I am not one of those that find it potentially being flat as laughable, I simply don't know.
Well, it's beyond laughable. It's outright retarded and it takes Key stage 2 level Science to understand.
Does it matter?
Does what matter?
just ends up with oh let me look at Boxrec, oh you lost to so & so, you could literally be p4p and they'd still just claim your resume lacked or something lame, there is no winning from saying who you are or what you have achieved online.
It doesn't mean or prove anything. If you have any doubt about my credentials you literally live down the road don't you? I am happy to meet you at any gym or even in the street right now, literally now and show you what I know but you won't cause you're a coward. You will say anything but name a spot
I just asked you what your credentials are. What are they? Who are you? How many professional fights have you had?
Your threats are pathetic. You're embarrassing yourself and I'd quit while you're behind if I were you.
Hey even those who sparred their pal in a local boxing gym are more authorised to talk boxing, its more than you've done ain't it?
But I will give you that a lot of guys who have competed know absolute nothing about the sport and it will never not blow my mind how they achieved so much despite knowing literally nothing or how they get continual employment
Honestly, buddy, I really hate break this news to you because I know it will genuinely hurt but not a single soul considers you some boxing scholar.
I promise you they don't.
Mafia involvement and dives have been around as long as the sport has. Match fixing and inside ******** is nothing new in any sport. You just seen a 1-0 kickboxer compete arguably with the goat and umpteen of the most laughably bought title shots you're ever likely to see yet still snobbish and acting like the sports not corrupt to its core? How many thousand premature stoppages, mismatches, undeserved title shots etc do we need for you to wake up?
What Mafia are you referring to here, the Italian Mafia? You are now saying the Italian Mafia have an influence on boxing in 2026?
So who exactly set up this scripted play we just watched? Do Usyk and Rico practice the moves in a secret underground lair?
Ok so tell us why its not flat because some bought off scientist of nasa told you so
I am genuinely not arguing with someone on why the Earth isn't flat which is something that was objectuvely discovered over two thousand years ago. I don't have the time or patience for that. Pigeons and Chess boards and all of that.
I'd strongly recommend you go and invest in a Celestron StarSense Explorer Telescope and have a gander. They're less than £200 on the Argos website.
As vvank as the HW division is and believe me its proper bunk, boxing isn't all that complicated. If you think an olympic gold medallist with 350 amateur fights, the greatest CW of all-time, an ATG HW with an exceptional jab, footwork and right hook doesn't know how to stabilise some muppet circling to his left nonstop or doesn't know how to cut him off you're crackers.
Right, it's not that complicated. It's two men having a fight.
There are plethora of reasons and moving parts as to why Usyk badly struggled with Rico in this fight. This isn't the first time it's happened and I highly doubt it will be the last.
Have any of you ever stepped in a ring, genuinely? Not to be snobbish but seriously you haven't and it shows because you don't see the nuisances of the sport only the narratives being painted and bollocks off boxrec.
Its baffling to me the entire forum, a boxing forum no less buys into this then again the same lot did when Floyd let Conor work for 4 rounds.
Oh looky, the old "argument from authority" fallacy is here to play.
Who are you? How many professional fights have you had? I'm going to take a wild guess at precisely zero so I'd leave the argument from authority angle at the door, it's an incredibly cringe worthy look quite frankly.
There are a long list of fighters, actual fighters, world class fighters, not someone who's sparred his pal in the local boxing gym once or twice, who have the total opposite view to you on this fight so what now? Your argument implodes.
I don't believe in a flat earth but everything else we've been taught is more or less is all bollocks is a flat earth really that bonkers? You'll say yes and most will and laugh but do any of us know for sure other than some bollocks we've been told by ***s and scientists funded by them. 100% dead ass, mother ****ing serious.
Again I don't really believe its flat, it could be a hexagon or a triangle for all I ****ing know but really what are we even going on or laughing at anyone that might think it is flat?
Erm yes it indeed is totally the epitome of that adjective you've gone with but I as you said you don't want to discuss boxing apparently because it's scripted and the fighters have dress rehearsals and only you're smart enough to see it and everyone else is too dumb to see it so I think you're probably better off in a flat earth forum as I suggested, infact I can almost guarantee you'd absolutely love it over there.
I wouldn't bother with Usyk unless he's offered insane money.
Usyk knows what to expect this time, will likely train harder and win easier.
If I'm Rico, I look for the Jake Paul fight for sure. Failing that, Fury or some other massive name.
Never seen this guy fight in my life until tonight (Don't watch kick boxing) but he certainly made a fan out of me.
The sport is done for its decreased in skill level, rigged to high heaven.
Belts being bought left and right and everyone selling their soul inside and outside the sport fighters paid 20 mill to make fights appear competitive.
Its not the sport I fell in love with and the worst part is fans all lap it up. No matter the dive, how bad the stoppage is or anything, fans buy into week in, week out.
I know longer love it or enjoy discussing it the same way I don't politics and a million other things littered with make believe horse ****.
Its gone from discussing boxing to some political, make believe WWE **** I don't even care to discuss
Why you still doing it then, bud?
Seems like you'd be better off taking your tin hat and pursuing flat earth forums or something of that ilk.
Not saying he shouldnt have been way ahead, but I am pretty sure two judges had it even going into the 11th. Meaning, counting the kd, ver hoeven would have been down 2 on two of the cards going into the final round.
This means ver hoeven would have needed at least two KDs in the final round, or a KO, to get the win. Not saying that is right or fair, just pointing out that factually Ver hoeven was not up on the cards.
Yeah open scoring had it even after 8.
Going into the 11th two judges had it even and one judge had Rico 1 round ahead.
Absurd scorecards though. Rico was way ahead by anyone with a functioning brain. Doesn't matter in the end because he stopped him.
He's 4-1 against, miles ahead and in full control with a few rounds to go. We can see by the rbr not a single one of you bought that narrative and still don't.
My point is you all buy into anything that is served and common sense is out of the window.
There is no logic or common sense. Whether its boxing, politics, mma, darts or football it comes down to the narrative, the picture being painted and barely a single ****er can see it for what it for what it is
Yeah still not made a single point there.
He wasn't in "full control", you could see with Usyk's experience that the momentum was finally starting to shift and due to that he got him out of there down the stretch.
Who is "single one of you" because I wasn't in the RBR Thread so that's another non-point you've made.
You've convinced yourself Usyk was carrying Rico, I'll let you in on a secret, he wasn't. What was happening is he was getting bullied and beaten up.
We are in a WWE make believe era full of people who have never stepped in a ring that don't know when a fighter is being carried or not, that's where we are.
These same lot will tell you that ydksab.
They will buy any WWE storyline, straight up
****ing dorks man buying the whole oh yh these Egyptians who can't build a damn thing to this day built these 4k yrs back and there's a fight at the bottom going on where the most skilled HW is struggling vs some **** slumped over his front foot and circling to his left nonstop, lol
I know this HW era is a bag of vvank but come on now
Any one with even half a working eye can see Usyk was NOT carrying Rico.
It's actually the opposite of your (terrible) observation. Anyone who's stepped inside a ring even at the lowest of levels can identify that Usyk was absolutely not carrying him in any way.
Then he sold the narrative well only nobody bet on Rico, why?
You, you all bought it yet Rico was what 4/1 still yet nobody bet a penny, why?
Because an 1-0 fighter isn't supposed to beat the Heavyweight champion of the world.
What point do you think you're making here?
This was no different to Floyd vs McGregor with the boxer letting his opponent do his thing, downloading data then turning it up at will so fans go their money worth.
Garbage stoppage but the writing was on the wall and it likely sells the rematch, 1 of Usyks final 3 and a further big pay day for both.
Nothing alike to that fight.
Rico bullied and beat up Usyk for the majority of the fight and should have been way ahead at the time of the stoppage.
Can someone explain to me how the #10 ranked Ring fighter can fight someone not in the Top 10 for a vacant world title?
How does that make any sense?
Begic has never even fought at world level.
Allen is something of a curiosity. He was pretty much retired a few years ago and somehow managed to secure these high profile fights by winning some untelevised but reasonably well attended fights. He seemed to imply it was his wife encouraging him to fight because of some home improvements she wanted him to make, but maybe that's just his deadpan northern humour.
Think it was more of a case of Dave Allen being brought in as a opponent who they expected to definitely lose to Johnny Fisher but he managed to win, so Eddie jumped on milking it as much as he could.
To be fair....according to the commentators he came in in the best shape of his life which is something considering in his last fight they said he was in the best shape of his life. Thats a positive improvement i suppose.
He always "comes in the best shape of his life" I was ringside when he fought Lenroy Thomas "in the best shape of his life" and he was terrible.
He doesn't even try in these fights he goes in there to survive.
He's not even an entertaining fighter I really don't understand why he has fans.
You aren't very bright are you lol.
In what way?
You've said mutliple times now Dave Allen is more of a priority to Frank Warren than Hrgovic when you've been told twice he isn't even signed to him thus not a priority to him in any capacity :lol1:
You've also been told now 4 times that Itauma-Hrgovic is already signed thus next and Wardley-Dubois 2 is legally contracted to be next and you're still just reading it and either not understanding it and just dribbling "Nah" out your mouth as a response or you're trolling by pretending to be retarded for what reason I don't know.
Either option would in fact make you not very bright, lol.
