This is one of the many reasons I ****ing hate these gimmick crossover fights. Theres always a risk it ends up making the boxer look bad. We are now in a position where the two best HWs of their era have BOTH been in contentious arguable robbery situations against a guy from a different ****ing sport. Its just ****ing embarrassing and I think will always cloud the division when its looked back on. And while Usyk may have gotten old, he was fighting a guy less than 2 years younger than him who has almost 80 fights worth of mileage from kickboxing. Definitely doesn't look good for the sport when someone from a different sport can walk in and perform like that vs the #1 fighter in the world. It's slightly nuanced as Rico CAN fight. He's trained boxing with Peter Fury for 15 years. He kick BOXES. But of course, your point still stands. It's why I'm with you on not being a fan of them.

If Rico doesn't get a rematch then he deserves to be on the co main event on the Usyk - Kabayel card. He did quite well and should be rewarded for it.

Think it was a combo of Rico being a better boxer than expected and Usyk lookin like soft play dough (not taking his training seruously). In the end, Rico was going to get ktfo, after beating Uysk pretty handily. Ref stoppage was garbage. Just like his stopping acting after Rico got his mouthpiece knocked out

Usyk was countering and throwing loads of punches against Chisora, if he Usyk was able to pull the trigger against Rico like he did Chisora then Rico would’ve been out of there in 5-6 rounds. Issue is that he couldn’t throw his punches because he’s faded. No, the reason he started landing counters is because Chisora is bulbous and hasn't had good stamina since his 20s. When Chisora had gas early, Usyk looked like a bedraggled rat exactly the same as he did for 10.5 rounds tonight. He cannot do his fancy Dan routine if a big man is crashing the pocket and mauling him, he needs time and space for all that.

I'm saying anyone with proper money has influence in boxing or any sport. Everyone has a price these days, most peoples isn't even much. So who wrote the scripts out for Usyk and Rico, is what I'm asking. How could they have discovered the earth was any shape back then with no telescopes, rockets or advanced technology? You don't need "advanced technology" to know that the Earth is not flat but again, not discussing something as patently obvious as the Earth not being flat on a boxing internet forum. What you'd do is you'd take your new telescope to any number of observatories in the UK and you can observe the other Planets that we know exist from there and you can see they are objectively not flat and deduct that the Planet we are on isn't either combined with the mountains of evidence to conclude that that could fill 100 Olympic swimming pools probably.
