Wilder is enjoyable and i like him even tough i think Fury proved his superiority in their fight. Both Fury and Wilder are entertaining guys. Joshua has more skill then Wilder and more power then Fury but he dosent bring the same entertainment value. I think he tries to hard to portray himself as the good guy. I've seen the video. They were both jawing at each other... I didn't hear any ducking from either one, other than the 2 are fighting on different networks. Bob Arum was right there in the video so he heard everything firsthand if he wanted to make the fight. I don't understand what's your point in relations to my opinion that the Spence is the more accomplished WW. Crawford hasn't proven anything as WW defeating 2 easy opponents. I think ward is the champ and the champ holds all the cards. Kov wants a decision quickly but he should have won if he wanted to dictate terms. His team let Ward dictate terms to the first fight and then he won, now of course ward wants either a better split or more favorable terms (not certain if that's spelled out in rematch clause) and it's kov's turn to wait for him. If the first fight didn't get the fans it wanted then an immediate rematch doesn't get anymore, however with the huge boxing slate of 2017, ward going to the U.K. to do more announcing more interviews and meet and greets, gain more exposure it seems logical that he is going to fight again soon or at least he is preparing for more limelight somehow. On the other hand Kovalev just got back from vacation, has said that he will always be robbed by American judges (while next fight will most certainly be in U.S.), has done nothing on his end to try to clamor up fans to get them paid. You're speaking of honor and honesty, but use logic and business savvy. Ward just got out of the hardest fight of his life and is already marketing, not signing a contract immediately gives him time to add to the suspense. While whiny boxing fans clamored for may pac for years they made a world record gate through patience. Die hard fans aren't enough to get a fighter paid you need some crossover. If you don't have them, you gotta try to at least maximize your exposure. Be still young man, when it is time you will know. First off, no one is saying that there should be panic because negotiations have yet to taken place. As for Ward, unless he and his team have plans to have their next fight, or the rematch, take place over in the UK, he should be trying to reach out to and appeal more to American boxing fans. Again, the fight doesn't have to take place right away, but negotiations can and should have at least started already. White was Mandatory long before Brezeale but I get what you're saying. No, he wasn't. To become mandatory, you have to fight a final eliminator. Whyte didn't do that until his last fight when he fought Oscar Rivas. Being a top-ranked contender is NOT the same as being a mandatory challenger. I think White has been fighting a long time to get Wilder. He had the courage to fight AJ, something Ortiz wouldn't do for a career high payday. White truly believes he's better than Wilder. It doesn't matter what you think Whyte has been doing. What matters are the facts. And the facts are Whyte was ordered to fight Ortiz in a final eliminator to become mandatory for Wilder, but he turned it down because Breazeale was already the mandatory challenger. Makes sense, but when Breazeale got wind of Whyte talking **** about his mandatory position and offered to put his position on the line against Whyte, but Whyte didn't take that fight either, opting to fight Chisora a 2nd time for money. This is all documented fact. If Whyte really thinks he's better than Wilder, then why avoid/turn down so many opportunities? I would have agreed with you a year ago, but not now. He's milking it. He should have been stripped of all belts after this much time. He has refused to fight Spence and used an injury for an excuse.
