How far back are we allowed to go?
What about the great Irish heavyweight Muhammad Ali? Yes, he had some from there many generations ago.
Oh lets go even further back...the great Neanderthal heavyweight Nikolai Valu.....oh wait, that was modern times.
Zoo keeper says to the Irish man, "The gorilla is on heat and we need someone to have sex with it. Would you consider shagging it for £500?". The Irish man replies, "I will on 3 conditions:
1st I'm not going to kiss it.
2nd my family must never know.
3rd I'll need a couple of weeks to get the cash together!"
So if your parents were on holidays in Somalia and you were born their, does that make you Somalian?? cop on.... Irish travelers are Irish weather we like it or not its not always a good thing, bet you if somebody done somthing wrong and they were an irish traveler you would have no problem calling them irish and not british
I see. And that means Puerto Rico actually had another champion in Danny Garcia, that Anthony Joshua should give up his British title as he is Nigerian and that britains greatest ever heavyweight champion is actually Jamaicas greatest ever heavyweight champion.
While we at it lets say Mayweather is the highest ever paid African athelete.
Log off and never return. You have Connor Mcgreggor stop crying.
That's my trainer Tony Wilson, I am not sure what happened at the end of his career but he should have been a world champion. He's 51/52 and he's still got it, he can pretty much kick all our asses in the ring and we all mid twenties and below. God given ability, and he works you so hard you think your soul has been taken from your body, 12 rounds, 30 seconds rest, press ups during the rest periods.. It's horrible.
He's a really good guy, one of the nicest people I've ever met in my life and really cares about your wellbeing outside of the ring
I felt it since May and smelled it all in the air last night......
Why do you constantly make threads about floyd. It is literally all you ever speak about. If not that then all you talk about is pac in a negative way. Boxing is bigger than both fighters and life is bigger than boxing. Log off take a breather and find other things to do. I've seen your twitter, you have serious psychological issues.. I am surprised you haven't been banned for all these threads on him. It is sad to see a brother act this way.
I usually don't post much here anymore, I just read up on news since I stopped doing boxing videos. I was shocked to hear of Muhammad's death, and it seemed to sadden me more and more as the days went on. It is a painful thought of not having him around in this world, as I sat and edited this in literal tears at some points, finally having it up to share with friends that are not fans of boxing and giving them just a glimpse of what this man was is something I felt was something I had to do.
Anyways hope some of you can enjoy it aswell, it is pretty short but I wanted to make it count.
Amazing video, you got skills, thank you for a beautiful tribute to the greatest.
Nah let's change it to 20 rounds
That way fighters are more prone to get tired , worse defence and sustain more head trauma
I think Jas should stop watching boxing and go watch ballet. Injuries can happen at any point during a boxing match - amateurs too. If it dropped to 10 rounds do you think we would see less head injuries? I don't think so.
Fact of the matter is any contact sport is dangerous, these are PRIZE fighters that fight for a living, they know the risks. Besides boxing believe it or not is much safer than many other sports, and head injuries are incredibly rare.
If it's going to happen it's going to happen. Many boxers spar 20 rounds at a time all around the world, to an observer who just watches boxing and posts on here they probably won't know that but try actually stepping in a gym and find out for yourself I have sparred many rounds people do unlimited rounds and no set time limits! Injuries can happen in sparring or in a fight, it's the nature of the business.
15 rounds should be brought back because it separates the men from the boys. Anyone who says it will lack intensity obviously hasn't watched many 15 rounders. That's just the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Of course some would pace themselves just as some would gas in round 3. Unification fights at least should have 15 rounds. Go watch Ali Frazier 3.
I think some posters dream about fairies, pink elephants and fluffy pillows. Man up. If someone starts a petition on change dot com for 15 rounders I will sign it.
How about permanent sanctions imposed by a mod?
Self-imposed sanctions will not allow the texasboi15 to comment until after May 2 2015.
The fight..is 18 days away.
This is getting annoying. I've just checked you've actually been logging on every single day and posting this for over two months. You really must have a sad life. Stop spamming, you are in every single pac / may thread saying this. Reported.
Your f@ckin jealous because my tiny country pisses all over your god forsaken sh1t hole.....as what I said prove it and talk to me about cheats when your stinking country is full of them......Jones,Armstrong,toney,Marion Jones,Carl Lewis,tarver...get use to the fact that Joshua is about to become the King of the heavyweight division...hard cheese
And Steve, please don't try to represent the UK like you speak for all of us, carnivore may be an uneducated dick but when you start saying things like this you make good company for him. Don't insult people's countries, without America you wouldn't be on this website and boxing wouldn't be where it is right now.
Carnivore again to you, his parents moved here and he was brought up here. He is British. Unless you want to trace back Froch and say he's representing Poland, or mayweather is representing whichever African country he is traced back to. The U.K. is doing well grabbing titles because we are a competitive nation and many of us like boxing, in fact fighting period. We have some good promoters who are getting fighters the right fights at the right time because the promoters can put up the money because of the large audiences that the tv companies know they'll get. Not rocket science.
Ohh you would be if you interrupted a heated discussion between 2 strangers which is what you have done....and believe me I won't be getting slapped as well...no worries on that.....I'm not speaking for you I'm speaking in general and the American carnivore was looking for an argument and was simply disrespecting a boxer who has achieved a great feat in becoming a world champion and when an American attacks my country I will attack back...as most english people would do.....so step aside I don't need u in my discussions
Lol you are saying you'd slap someone you've never seen before, from there I can't take you seriously and I have to label you a keyboard warrior. I have no doubt you'd turn white as a ghost in person so again settle down, it's a forum I can state my opinions, don't be so childish. This isn't real life lol it's just a discussion.
Not really sure what you're saying. The Olympics has WWE-level rampant PED/steroid issues so why would that mean anything?
Joshua is on extreme amounts of steroids. It's not really up for debate. IMO when he won that paper title he should have stepped aside and let his chemist/dealer accept it. I guess he ignores the people who did the real work and just takes credit for himself.
Oh man this is so funny. I swear 90% of people on here must have never been to a gym. It's as if no one can be in shape without taking steroids. Anyone who is muscly and defined takes steroids. It's beyond a joke. You really believe an amateur boxer was able to cheat Olympic style testing?
We are not talking about some state sponsored athlete who's countries pride rested on his shoulders. We are talking to some poor average Joe who just goes down his boxing gym and works hard. I think many Americans would be shocked to come to England and realise working class people here are no better off then people in the ghetto in the US.
You can get very big if you go gym 3 times a week, training two body parts a time between 60 and 90 minutes, 6 meals a day with a high protein intake and a low amount of complex carbs, creatine and a good whey protein shake after training and before bed. No steroids needed to get much bigger than Anthony Joshua. Just lots of clean food and plenty of determination.
Educate yourself. Many of the steroids being claimed to be used don't leave your system for months. Go read steroid dot com and read up on proper scientific research from the steroid enthusiasts themselves! The only thing a boxer would potentially use is EPO to increase stamina and performance. Taking huge amounts of steroids would not be beneficial to a boxer it would make him slow and bulky. Joshua has functional muscle and works on explosive power.
Don't get me started on the people who think that steroids make you take a punch better.. If only you knew how embarrassing posts like yours are.
Joshua is on steroids. I don't believe anything you typed at all (specifically because I was around gyms and steroid users for years). Sorry mate.
Every level of drug testing is a joke, you only get caught if you mistime something. The fact that you aren't aware of that disqualifies the rest of your story.
Obviously you're trolling and I was actually taking you seriously at first. I've been round steroids myself, dabbled when I was younger albeit for a couple of weeks only as it wasn't for me, and I research anything I do obsessively. Different steroids have different half life's, some take months to clear your system. The ones you mentioned most certainly. Test prop is the only one that clears very quickly, and even that would be impossible to use because it's YEAR round random drug testing. Why not do a little research then come back to me with your thoughts.
Who brought you in to the conversation....who pulled your chain ?.....I'm simply counter punching this rancid inbred carnivore back in to his place......please grasp the whole conversation before you actually jump into a mid blown discussion...if u tried that in person in a bar when two blokes are arguing you would probably get slapped around for putting your nose in......carnivore is a jealous dick period
Believe me, if anyone would be getting slapped, I can assure you it wouldn't be me. So settle down. Carnivore is a dick. But you're no better if you speak the way you do, and as I am from the UK too, I don't like it when people give a bad impression of us. Stick to insulting him personally, don't lower yourself and insult a whole country of people.
It's OK to root for your favorite fighter but to be a RTARD and won't admit he LOST is Completely different. I scored the fight 115-113 BUT the TWO knockdowns made it 117-111.
You've posted nearly 2000 times and you don't know how to score rounds in a fight. This is the most embarrassing thing I've seen on here and I've been on here for 10 years. Lol I wonder how long it takes you to get it.
Real boxing fans should demand the best fight the best.
This writer sounds like a Cotto fan rather than a fight fan, trying to talk dat bizness nonsense.
I don't care if Cotto and Golovkin were named Bob Smith and Joe Black, their rankings dictate they fight.
Fitzsimmons is the most annoying writer on here, he's biased and not objective at all.
I hope his car gets repossessed. Look at his avi, he wants to rub money's chest. They really need to fire him in the words of his master he don't know **** about boxing.
Has he been beat yet?
No.
So there is no blueprint, right?
Right.
My point was in the first fight Wlad had no real info on Fury, there was no blueprint for him to say "well such and such beat him, maybe if i do this, i can beat him"
Now that he has been in the ring with Fury, he knows what he is up against in the rematch, he can make adjustments.
In terms of that toerag, dirty drug cheat/drug dealer/criminal Oluwafemi Olaseni , i don't respect him whatsoever. He's a fraud and a liar.
Get a grip. He sold a bit of weed and wasn't even good at it. If he was on something he'd get caught. He has to give 1 hour every single day of the year where he can be tested. The level of stupidity of you and some other posters. You don't actually get how stupid you make yourself sound to people who know steroids. Lol you're like one of those people everyone wants to punch in the face and just say shut up as no one will ever get through to you. One hour. Every day. He has to be free if they ask. If not, he gets banned 2 years minimum. No way around it. Do you get that? If he gets caught, everything is gone, sponsorship, career, titles - his whole reputation and what he's acheived will no longer count.
Wake up. Dilian himself got caught for taking an over the counter energy drink. If you take anything as a uk boxer, you are caught.
Wake up.
Seems like he is trying to hard to fit in, everything about the guy seems manufactured.
He's been hiding a secret life, and his mask his slowly slipping, from having kids with strippers, to dating dirty reality tv whores.
The guy is not the "good guy" he pretends to be.
LMAOOOO!!! The hate is unreal! Why is it whenever an exciting fighter comes along people have to be so bitter and try to drag them down? He keeps KNOCKING PEOPLE OUT. HE LOOKS LIKE A HEAVYWEIGHT SHOULD LOOK. HE COMES ACROSS AS HUMBLE!
So many people hated on pacquaio because he was lighting people up and was humble. So many people hate on GGG because he's lighting people up and he is humble. Now it's Joshua's turn.
What exactly has he done wrong? So someone who sold a bit of weed to make ends meet is forever a criminal and a terrible person? So he banged some strippers? You telling me you would say HEY NO STAY AWAY THAT IS JUST COMPLETELY UNHOLY GOD WILL NOT APPROVE IF I BANG YOUR SWEET KITTY! Oh my days. People in general, not just on here but life in general are bitter and jealous. What do you exactly want him to do that will make you happy.
The guy gets up in early in the morning and clearly works his a$$ off. He's had 16 fights. Why are you complaining about his competition. Who was klitschko fighting 16 fights in, or fury, or wilder? He had 15 fights and fought the weakest heavyweight champion. Was he supposed to fight the best? His first defence is better than wilders. Undefeated high KO ratio and a big athletic dude.
A mans personal life is his personal life. As long as he is working hard and showing people from disadvantaged backgrounds success is possible for them too - while being pretty damn cool and humble at the same time - then what more do you want in a role model.
Give the guy a break when you have a special talent you BUILD it slowly. Every fight is a risk. Why throw him in with high risk low reward 16 fights in? If you shout your mouth off like mayweather did and you a 17 year pro saying you the best then take the high risk fights. Hell even Conor Mcgreggor if you talking like that take the big risk fights (he did). If you still a baby in the game 16 fights and 100% KO record and world champ. BRAVO. Most of you couldn't last 1 minute of 1 round of sparring let alone win an amateur or professional fight.. Winning a world title once against the weakest champion ever in any weight division would be the biggest achievement in the whole family tree of 99% of the posters on here. Remember that. FACT.
rofl
please tell me your age and how muscular you plan on being "in a few years"
i'm dying to hear
Well you'll be disappointed to know I am not some 18 year old kid who did a bit of online reading and have pipe dreams of looking like arnie in the next couple of years.
I'm 28, and I've been training since I was around 16. I know the gym inside out like the back of my hand and I know nutrition. It's very easy to spot people on steroids in the gym, they are simply too strong for their build. I've been to many gyms the world over. Plain and simple you need to go and educate yourself, you're sitting there saying you're dying to hear this, so please 'hear this'. Our boxers are year round drug tested randomly, no messing around, any slip up you get banned for two years. The last guy Joshua fought had a two year ban for drinking a pre workout, a stimulate that got recently banned was in it. Was wrong to ban him, but no way round it.
Listen a heavyweight boxer should look like Joshua in this day and age. You're getting paid ridiculous amounts of money to simply exercise. There is no excuse to be looking like a flabby mess. You have so much knowledge and support, so much money backing you, you don't even have to think. It's just follow instructions. He gets his meals delivered to him by sponsors. If you can't get to his size when you're in his position something is seriously wrong.
If you don't think you can be his size without taking steroids then you've either never been to a gym, or you're lazy as hell and are making excuses for yourself. I think in your case it's the first. Anthony Joshua is not on steroids I can tell you that for a fact.
