The Irish stood behind there hero for so many years, right now Tyson Fury and his cousin Andy Lee hold world titles and Ireland should be proud of this.
I remember supporting Tyson when he was fighting out of the Holy family boxing club in Belfast before moving on to the Smithboro Gym in county Monaghan, later he represented Ireland on an international level and won a bronze medal in 2006 at the AIBA Youth championships.
Well done to this Irish hero who the british try claim as theres lol, pathetic.
John Sullivan and Jim Corbett were basically Irish.

Bob Fitzsimmons had an Irish father too - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Fitzsimmons#Biography
If Fury wants to identify as Irish I'd call him the 4th.
Fitzsimmons was half Irish and English.
Whatever you want to say Fury considers himself British.
He lives in England. And represents Britain in boxing, not Ireland. So whether or not he calls himself Irish as well, he's obviously British. That's what you call an open and shut case.
he said his win was for Ireland and Britain
Post fight press conference he said "I'm happy to be Ireland's first ever HW champion."
:lol1: dumb Brits
Would a true Irishman have God save the queen playing as his national anthem?
Furys received a lot of hate, especially from the English.
Travelers are hated here.
So i don't blame him for dedicating his win to Ireland.
Most Brits ride Anthony Joushas ****, they even noshed off David Price.
Fury has always been on the sidelines.
This one seems appropriate
