Check this one out......it has some more devastating KO's IMO.
ehh...nothing special. Both videos have some kos the other doesn't but the first vid has better music, better editing, better timing, better quality footage and is better put together so ummm...I like the first one better! lol Takes a real good job to make a video with alot of KOs I've seen before and make it so entertaining like that.
Don't know if its under appreciated, but perhaps my favorite commentator line of all time is Lampley on Gatti-Ward:
"STOP IT FRANK! You can stop it anytime!!"
I can't consider this video a great highlights: there isn't the perfect punch (Robinson - Fullmer).
Yea that was a great punch. But on the site it stated that the vid was the greatest knockouts of the past 25 years...No black and white footage in there, mostly recent footage. It even has a KO from 2 weeks ago
Yes, I saw Miranda in the footage. That a great KO.
Watching that KO again, the sheer force of that punch was amazing. Was like Banks was hit by a car.
Good compilation of KO's from the past 25 years but not the greatest KO's of all time.
The only earlier ones I can think of that would be nice additions are Fullmer-Robinson, Marciano-Walcott and a few Louis KOs. But I think I'm content with what was presented in this one since some of those older KOs are quite repetitive, I see those in every compilation. Good to see some new blood in there. (pun intended :tapedshut)
Didn't he offer him %25
Bowe was getting hammered by Golota, Lewis knocked Golota out in 1 Rd.
come on man u know u cant use that argument...styles make fights, how one fighter does A does against fighter B dont mean sh1t about he hed do against fighter C.
Its like saying, Hearns knocked out Duran in 2 and since Hagler went a hard 15 with Duran that means Hearns easily beats Hagler right?
Golata was doing excellent in the beggining and couldn't put Bowe away, he started to lose concentration and started to get hit with right hands by Bowe. The the low blows started to come in, Golata is incapable of finishing a discipline fight unless he is total control
Totally agree. I remember watching that fight live and thinking, Bowe is about to take this over now...then boom boom, low blows, fight over.
When was the last time we seen a heavyweight with the kind of killer instinct attack of Bowe? He sure was exciting to watch. he threw and threw and threw. Went for the KO, **** a decision.
I remember the image of Bowe throwing the WBC belt into the trash because he refused to fight Lennox. It's really too bad.
Unfortunately that publicity stunt will be remembered as Bowe refusing to fight Lennox Lewis when in actuality it was a press conference held by Rock Newman to discredit the WBA association. They tossed the belt because they deemed the WBA belt useless because of a rift with their promotion team and they had refused to give Bowe a unification fight.
that fight was over right at the press conference. Donald was scared to death in the ring. The same thing with Gonzales
There were some dudes that came in to the ring thinkin they could bang with Bowe then started running scared the second he TOUCHED them with a glove. He had heavy heavy hands with great hand speed on top of that...lethal combo.
I dont think anyone was more scared of Bowe in the ring than Herbie Hide.
He had his chance and he refused to fight, Bowe didn't want anything to do with him. Lewis would of smashed him like he did in the Olympics
Wrong. Bowe's team offered Lennox Lewis 3 million for a fight. He turned it down calling 3 million "an insult." And let it be noted Lennox had never made a 3 million dollar purse up to that point.
