Agreed. AA is gonna come back stronger and hopefully he can get his rematch with Dirrell later in the tourney.
Im hoping Kessler puts a beating on Froch first.
Marg will bring it for sure, but he's gonna get beaten to the punch every time. If he gets hurt early he's in serious trouble. If he can withstand the punishment that he will no doubt take, things could get interesting in the last few rounds. Don't see it though Im thinking the fight gets stopped around the 10th round because he'll have accumulated too much punishment.
Margarito will come to fight no doubt about it. He'll come forward and put pressure on Pac like he does all opponents, but Pac is gonna make him look like he's in slow motion. The offensive onslaught by Pacquiao is gonna be glorious. Margarito won't give in so the fight won't be a cakewalk. Pac won't either and his stamina hasn't been a question so he'll give the beating for 12 rounds if he has too.
I think it'll be an enertaining fight too, just don't know how competitive it will be. Even if Margarito isn't past prime it wasn't like he was even remotely fast in foot speed or hand speed. Or he was even average defensively. His defense has always been a high punch output and taking flush shots to the face. He's always been a fighter with lots of balls, will, determination, and can take a punch.
It'll be a tough fight for Pac because any fight with Margarito is, but I still think Pac wins comfortably unless Marg just takes Pac's punches like it's nothing the whole fight. If Marg gets hurt with shots then it's not gonna end good for him.
Yea, its obvious hes not a real boxer, but let him get paid. He wasnt born into a position to make this money he literally fought his way to this point. No need to hate the man.
Yeah when he went into MMA and was getting all that hype I thought that was pretty lame, but I look at it now as if people are gonna pay him to fight even if he sucks at it professionally why not. In this day and age when things aren't easy, gotta find someway to support his kids.
Im no Kimbo fan by any means, but he's found a hustle and he's running with it. Trying to become a boxer and getting paid is better than having a normal job. So I say let him do his thing and he'll probably end up getting beat sometime soon anyways.
nah, I believe it's the sponsors. Tennis has bigger sponsorships and this is why I think ESPN prioritizes tennis.
Yeah I know Im just messing. I actually really like Tennis, I knew that them showing that match would piss people off here.
Im not worried much from his loss, but from his shoulder problem. Looked pretty decent last night. So that's a good sign. Looking forward to seeing him in big fights in the future. When he's right I see him beating a lot of guys.
I wouldn't mind either since Im a JMM fan, but if I had to choose one it would the Katsidis fight. It would be exciting, JMM would be at his best weight at the moment and watching him against the come forward kind of fighters is a thing of beauty. Khan would be interesting though because of Khan's chin and I think JMM could catch him at some moment and win a title at 140lb.
I hate to say it but JMM is slowing down. As his next fight I'll still take JMM, but if he waits much longer than another year or so he'll be too slow and Linares will outpoint him. :boxing:
This.
At this point JMM still has enough speed to go along with his ring smarts to pull out a victory against Linares.
For sure. Don't remember the last time I didn't get a Pac PPV. Plus you know Margarito will be coming to fight even if he get's his ass straight handed to him. Which I think will happen.
Holy shit. Forget about life as we know it if this fight happens. Because my god Tye Fields will not only end Fury's life, but all of Earth if he connects with his massive left hook. Actually I would look forward to this so I can descend up in heaven and be with my lord and savior, Tye "fuking" Fields.
Yeah a lot of fights do, but they don't. I can see why it isn't though Marquez won rather easily towards the end in the last fight. Diaz did a good job in the beginning, but Marquez figured him out. Since Diaz probably won't change it up, Marquez could end this thing earlier. Since It's JMM fighting im excited though, plus the undercard looks good. So im thinking of hitting the theater for this one.
Yeah losing to Juarez woudn't be good for Linares. It could be a possiblity though Juarez got's nothing to lose. Im hoping Linares wins before his injury and loss he looked great and I hope he can maybe get back to that and we can see him in some big fights.
Yeah I think it will again. Pretty much playout like the first fight, maybe even earlier if Diaz doesn't change much up from the first fight. Because JMM had him figured out because Diaz had no answers and was getting nailed with all sorts of shots in the last few rounds.
JMM may have lost some even from the last fight, but he'll make up for that with his ring intelligence.
This is what I thought happened too. I mean from the beginning it didn't look like his momentum propelled him out of the ring like he did. I don't think he did it on purpose or anything to quit, but it was weird how it looked like he jumped himself out of the ring.
He should have just gotten up right away to prove he could fight. Or at least go to a knee.
