AA is not a criminal but he did what he did out of frustration. He paid the price for it.
I agree. Never disputed the DQ and I thought it was the right call. I guess I see things different than most on this board because I grew up a huge Tyson fan and Iron Mike was notorious for doing that.
Watch for him to try and end fights earlier now. Carl Froch is in for a thrashing of lifetime peeps.
Agreed. AA will realize that he cant give up rounds like that, and he was giving up a lot of them, not saying Dirrell wouldnt have been leading the scorecards anyway, but not by such a wide margin. I still think it will come down to AA vs Ward in the final, and if AA meets Dirrell in the semis he will come out with both guns blazing and put Dirrell to sleep.
Disappointed with the fight plan from AA. He should gone hard early and that would screwed dirrell up.
Dre did good though, but i always knew he would get KTFO during some point in the fight.Hopefully he recovers well , because he was showing some bad signs after the fight.
Man Handspeed I was saying the same thing last night. People act like Abe did that maliciously. It was the heat of the moment and people fail to realize how often that happens in boxing. The Ref got in the middle of Shane and Marg and Shane still hit Margarito.
Also Tyson is my favorite fighter of all-time, but he has done this 3-4 times if not more throughout his career. It just boils down to a fighter being too aggressive and not stopping when deemed necessary. Many have done this, so there is no need to bash Abraham like he is some type of criminal.
Yeah, it has been a trip all day with this crap....
The punch was not necessary, but I see how it could happen.
Dirrell won, no matter how, he won. AA lost. I for one feel he will be back. In and outside of the tourney.
Dirrell got himself a good win last night...That is never enough for NSB though. Everything has to turn into some kind of war.

Okay....
Well, in the heat of the moment, margo had a chance to stop, but instead, he delivered one last right hand...Cott's knee, and gloves were down.
My point?
Many have acted like AA is the only one in boxing history to do this. He is not. He made a mistake. That got him DQ'ed.
He is not a cheat, or a discrace...Like many now have dubbed him.
That is my point.
Roy paid for his late hit, so did Soto. The ref looked at the Margo/Cotto situation as a heat of the moment thing.
It happens. That is all i'm saying.

I just wonder what you had to say about Abraham before this fight. I bet it was something to the effect that he would destroy Dirrell, but thats not at all what happened. In other words, your predictions don't mean squat. abraham was getting beat and hit Dirrell on the ground out of frustration. Just goes to show what kind of man he really is.
Can I ask you a serious question?
Are you getting any sort of pleasure out of this situation? Or hell, any pain?
Seems most Dirrell supporters are...Is this the case? If so, why?
I wanted Dirrell to win before you ask.
I agree. Froch better prepare better than he was going to because I think this fight is going to bring back the hunger in Abraham and be more aggressive, that's when he does better. Abraham will be back stronger and much more focused so all these haters on this forum will bow down to the king.

Margarito never hits people while they're down.
What he did to Cotto was a coup de grace.
It was all part of the action.

Reguardless of what you said after the bold and underline, you have to also be disgusted with Roy, Soto, Margo, and any other fighter the has hit a man while he was down...Right?
Absolutely........
I think the reason he will beat AA is his offensive creativitah.
Froch is a master at darting in and out w/ uppercuts and stiff left jabs.
He will find all the holes that AA will give him w/ his turtle d.
Froch's footwork is also masterful.
Froch masterfull??
Well,if Froch play a war with Arthur, like he did against Jean Pascal,or JT in the second half of the fight.
He is going to get koed cold, and find his ****in long nose in the public.
Is Froch able too outbox Abraham like Dirrell did??
HELL NO.
Froch is a poor guy in this fight, his slow jab doesn't help him except being exposed to that huge right hand.
Hopefully for him,the arrogant english WBC champion get those good hard uppercuts.
It's weird for me because honestly I am disgusted at AA for what he did... and lets not get it twisted, it wasn't like AA was close to winning before the DQ, he was getting a boxing lesson.
On the flipside for me..
I will be rooting for him 125% in his next fight... I hope he knocks Froch through the floor then back up through the ceiling Mortal Kombat style.

I think he should do what street bully said and come out like a bat out of hell from now on.
Start earlier and be more of a killer.
It's exactly what he needs to do.
At the very least, even a few rounds earlier would be better, 3 or 4 into the fight.

That dog on skates beat the drunken giraffe in Nottingham 8-4.
Haha, no way man. Froch didn't do shit, Dirrell won that fight. But we're definitely gonna have to agree to disagree on that one.
And I also think AA will KO Froch easy. Froch when faced with a guy not punching back gets a little reckless trying to push the action. He does that against Abraham he's going to get ICED.
We've seen time and time again that the more skilled fighters don't always win. I know I sound like everybody else, but I don't think Abraham and Kessler are super skilled. They don't have athleticism like Ward or Dirrel does. And what puts Froch above both of Kessler and Abe in my opinion is his mental toughness. He doesn't complain to the ref about borderline low blows. And I don't think Calzaghe could've hurt him with a body punch like he did to Kessler. Froch is a mentally determined fighter despite what a lot of people think about his technical ability.
His style is more calculated than that. He is a master of controlling distance w/ his legs.
That allows him the abilitah to fight w/ his hands down.
He's a poor man's version of Sergio Martinez in a way.
That's fine...
But I think you will agree with me on a few things.
He can be hit.
He can be dropped.
He can be hurt.
AA can knock you out cold.
