I hope it's as a competitive match as can be. I just don't know man, Manny's body has a lot of mileage on it. Five years ago I had Manny, but right now I just feel like he might be a bit too "fragile."
With that said, Floyd did get touched up against Maidana a bit as well and even a 2015 Manny Pac is certainly more of a threat then Maidana. But I just have a feeling Manny will get wild and start lunging in if he gets frustrated in the opening rounds.
If Manny can stay disciplined throughout, it'll be interesting.... But I think Floyd's gonna set him up brilliantly, frustrate him- and put Manny to sleep.

Maidana is a tough guy. Strong and durable. But he's not very good. IMO.
I didn't say he was better than Pacquiao but rather bigger and stronger. Manny cannot out box Mayweather and he isn't physically bigger than Mayweather and doesn't have 1 punch ko power. Floyd decreases his opponents punch out put and frustrates them. Manny gets props for humbling himself and taking the fight but Floyd beats him.

Yeah man... I hate sounding like I have excuses for the pacman but I really wish this fight would have happened prior to the KO. The blame for that belongs in multiple peoples' hands but hopefully boxing will get it's act together and put the best up against the best when it is most relevant and most telling. Manny was made to look like this unstoppable force because of the guys he fought style wise but every time he fought a technical boxer he had to work harder. Movers and counter punchers have always been a problem for Manny Pacquiao. 5 years ago Pacquiao loses but probably would have been a more exciting fight but can't say or know for sure. Manny is in his feelings and these excuses proves this to be true because he came up with 10 excuses before the day was over.
Floyd counter shots are going to keep Manny at bay and keep him humble all through the fight. Mayweather is pretty fast too so his speed won't be much of an advantage for him over Mayweather. Floyd has the reach, size and the defense. Pacquiao swings wild sometimes losing his balance. Also Manny is not a physical fighter like using his body to push opponents around. All Floyd has to do is stay off the ropes and keep pacquiao from letting his hands go crazy. I pick Floyd in 2008 and am again in 2015.

Zab/Floyd was already negotiated before the Baldomir fight that's why when Zab lost they redid the contract. Basically Mayweather honored his agreement prior to Baldomir. Zab also had a title Baldomir didn't pay sanctioning fees for (forgot which one) and then Floyd fought Baldomir to become the recognized Champion at WW. He fought the both the winner and the loser. How come people are replying to my post but not naming the guys Manny fought coming off loses? That's what my question was.

First of all, Mayweather IS the loser. Second, Mayweather has a tendency to treat dangerous fighters like they are applying to Harvard to "deserve" the fight, but then fighters that lose to these dangerous fighters somehow qualify and get the fights. #FightPacquiao

As for Maidana stepping aside for a year before they had their fight, well its common knowledge. He was Khans Mandatory. He was paid to step aside for a year or 3 fights, whichever came first and then they were supposed to fight. After the year was up Khan still didn't want the fight and Maidana had to write a letter to the WBA to force Khan to take the fight. Like I said, its common knowledge.
As for Kell Brook not being on Khans level, that also irrelevant. Point is he called him out and Khan doesn't want it.
