2015 was the last year of Golovkin's prime, even then he was past his absolute peak which was around 2012-2013. Just look at videos of him back then, he was so much sharper, with ferocious handspeed. It's frustrating watching him now because he just doesn't have it anymore.
The first fight I noticed cracks was against Murray in 2015. He got tired and didn't seem to quite have the same edge and explosiveness. Against Lemeuix that year as well he laboured somewhat as well.
Right now he's 70% of what he was, way past peak. He should retire before he gets badly hurt.

The last time we saw a prime Golovkin was 2015. Even in his fight against Lemieux in 2015 I remember thinking he looked like he was labouring more than usual. 2012 Golovkin comfortably beats Canelo, Jacob's and Derevyanchenko.
