There was multiple reports and leaks of an injury in Pacquaios camp posted over twitter, his sparring partner also gave further details and confirmation. Finally, Pacquaio and his team made the the governing body aware of the injury weeks before the fight. Why would they do that if it wasn't legit? Don't be stupid now; most of the signs point to a legitimate, serious injury. How much did it affect him exactly during the fight? We don't know.

Timing is everything and when he defeated Reggie Johnson, Griffin and Harding you have to take into account where they were in their careers when the fights took place. As for Glen, remember Glen got him first, deflating him after his greatest accomplishment - beating Roy - also during his 15 mins of fame where he went everywhere talking trash, tooting his own horn, etc. Again, not a great fight, an average fighter who talks more than he fights.

Please. Floyd wont walk away from this, nor will he retire. Both fighters and their camps feel they are #1 thus which means they should have the advantage in negotiating, so it will take time since egos are involved. At the end of the day, the fight will be made and two great fighters will square off. At the end of the night, Floyd will be victorious and his detractors will find something else to piss and moan about.

At Roy's age he is still much faster than Joe will ever be, coupled with his power that puts Joe's O in jeopardy. Roy hands down. Definitely a more exciting fighter that headed up the P4P list for a decade, in addition be gifted athletically. Couple that with wins over Hopkins, Toney, Griffin, Hill, Woods, then going up 25 pounds of pure muscle and beating Ruiz. I forgot the Olympic medal.
Other than fighting Roy and losing in 93, Bernard's record is quite lackluster between 88-00, and he was suppose to beat the small Trinidad and Oscar. He looked good against Tarver and Pavlik, but thats it.

Shane forgets the size difference between he and Pac - which he tried so desperately to land. Roy still has the power and speed factors over Joe and if he doesnt go into defense mode and cover up waiting for Joe to get tired, which doesnt happen, he has a real shot, provided he throws combo's, keeps buys and makes Joe defensive-minded. The question is, what roudn does stamina come into play for either!
Shane is going to be overly aggressive which is not his style, he will discount Floyd's power, accuracy & counter punching/defensive ability resulting in frustration and being behind on the cards. The frustration will lead to further mistakes, Floyd will win impressively. IF Shane's winging punches land consistently then that will test Floyd a bit, but we all know Floyd is better at making adjustments so he will nullify Shane. Lopez is in love with his homeboy Oscar otherwise he would have NEVER had Shane on the show lol
Floyd isn't running from Mosley and its well documented that this fight could have taken place quite some time ago. They are businessmen and Mosley realizes fighting Floyd means $$$ in comparison to other fighters. On the otherhand, Floyd stands to make much more $$$ against other fighters and he is in the driver's seat so Mosley will have to wait his turn. And we all know ego plays a huge role so both men want to be in the chief negotiating spot. Mosley should fight Pwill, win and put himself in a better bargaining position not to mention more hype for a showdown with Floyd.
