Ive seen him spar at the Wild Card. Kid is good, no doubt. But i also seen him spar with another youngin named Saddam "world kid" Ali. He didn't do too good in that fight..

SADAM ALI originally was fighting at 143 for his last fight ... fight fell thru.. the availabilty was clay the 150LB'er... Ali took fight and ate his way up to 150.. thats the disadvantage bout being a free agent and no promoter.. 135?? no way .. 140 ... if theres a guy i believe he makes weight..
It'd be kinda foolish to match him up with a monster like Maidana right now. Remember their feeding this kid tomato cans to
1.) make him appealing to public
2.) make his confidence go up
IMO he should fight another up and coming fighter Sadam Ali, look him up. The kid is in the SAME division right now as Benavidez.
Hopefully this kid has the goods to really become a star.

Great boxer, seems to be getting stronger especially with his last fight which resulted in KO.. hasnt fought any walk-overs other than his first fight. fought good caliber opponents.. very good prospect coming up other than Jose Benivedez.. wonder when he will get signed thou... guess they waiting for the proper deal???

The kid def has skills but to be honest as far as NY fighters go I think Mike Faragon or even Darnell Giles were far ahead of him when they were young pros.
Those are upstate fighters if anyone was wondering. Giles I heard hasnt been training seriously but when he came out of the ameatures as the #1 in the country he was way better than Ali. Faragon is still undefeated. For those in the NY area, Faragon and Ali fight the 21st on Bowery, I'll be there.
Sadam was never with lou.. always was a free agent which makes it harder to get fights.. with a promoter ali wouldnt of fought the guy he fought yesterday at bowery.. Clay is a experienced fighter who fought many good fighters.. berto, ouma, kirkland, jones, and the list goes on.. Ali held his own.. thought he looked great other than maybe losing focus a bit and feeding to the crowd a tad.. but the kid got talent.. gotta give it to him .. Ur thoughts to who was at that fight card ???? Faragon on the flip side looked good but fought a bum at 10 and 0 ..

Yeah he fought in the olmpics but seems like he went under the radar cuz he lost in bejinng...Kid is Good... put that same guy he lost to when the points wasnt registering he whips his butt in the pros...
