Well, you know, it may be a smart move given that Shane just recently fought the second most popular fighter in the world (Fantasy Floyd)... At this point, I think Sergio vs Manny is a more competitive fight than vs Floyd. Floyd is quickly becoming a has been. Sergio needs just one big mainstream PPV fight just to get that mainstream attention then a fight vs Manny would be the shiznit... I say Sergio vs Margarito, Cotto or Chavez on PPV... then a mega fight with Manny at Dallas Stadium sometime late next year. What a fight!

But he's still a very small Jr Middleweight. Yuri Foreman hurt Cotto. While I'm still not convinced that Sergio is all of a sudden the murderous puncher that everyone is making him out to be, he has shown good power recently and I think he can hurt Cotto and possibly stop him. Manny has faster hands and movement than Oscar did then. And Oscar outlanded Tito by 100 punches that night. Manny would use so many angles on Tito it wouldn't even be funny. Tito couldn't catch Oscar, he wouldn't come close to catching Manny. And he'd run into so many right hand counters, he'd surely go down, as he came in with his feet planted throwing with full power.
