I 100% agree with the post above. IMO they should let the younger guys fight the older guys and the winner moves on. Therfore if the older guys really want it they'll trian hard and fight hard for it. or else They disappear and we have some new more exciting guys to watch.
I say they are about even. I voted for Pac because mayweather is frusterating since it'll be september before he fights again. and guess who he's fighting!? the golden years... i mean golden boy. Honestly, the only person left for mayweather to fight and beat is miguel cotto. If he can do that, he'll have a better resume in my opinion when compared to pac.
me and you are in teh same boat...except i'm walking around at 154. i drop down to welterweight (147) for my last fight though. i think it's probably best especially since you're so tall you have that reach advantage. What i say is, if you train to fight like an outside fighter, then you should weigh as little as possible so you can fight the shorter guys.
By the way, i crushed my opponent with a TKO in the first 30 seconds of the third because i used my reach. It definatly recomend you dropping down to 147. It has huge advantages.
This fight is an "intense" mismatch. The reason i say intense is because there have already been two fighters who have recently died in horribly mismatched fights. Anyone think this fight may end up in that sort of fashion?
corrupt...
Calzaghe should fight kessler
jt should fight pavlik.
The winner of those two fights fight each other.
If this were the NCAA this is how it would be no questions asked.
Some of the main trainers at the gym know of some people like that so i'm going to see if i can hook up with them. The actual trainers at the gym say they don't have time to train an amature so they're going to give me a few lessons for money then hook me up with a trainer who just does it on their free time.
so i SHOULDNT sign a contract with anyone until i'm thuroughly in my amature career?
aight i think i'm going to go on that advice... not sign anything and just pay for personal training and get my 10 amature fights out of the way before doing anything.
Ricky Hatton doesn't want to box Floyd because he knows he'll get his ass crushed that way. Instead he wants PBF to come on into this territory where skill is obsolete and power is everything. If floyd does this, he's an idiot.
This is a battle of styles. To see who's style is better, more refined. What kind of style is better and so on.
$500 on floyd.
that's all the money in my bank right now... i'm a very poor college student.. and if he looses i'll be a very sad college student haha.
aba club? american boxing association? i called them but the person i called wasn't very helpful...they said that they were located in norfolk va which is 3 and a half hours away from ashburn va...
the website i went to was www.usaboxing.org
is there a different site?
thanks! that was a good site with some gyms near my area. i think i'll save it in favorites and see if i can give them a call tomorrow during the day. But until i sign up i think i'll start working out more heavily (rope jumpin, and runnin 2-4 miles then buy a bag and figure out to use that too as suggested).
Which means hopefully you'll never become an official judge. :nonono:
Well it would make sense for me to become an official judge because it seems now adays there are a lot of shitty decisions.
in all fairness i was really drunk and on my written score card i stoped writting numbers and started using symbols... for the person who thought who won the round. good story.
