Question. I know holding a clinch in MMA doesn't make much energy because your arms aren't being used as much. But in straight up boxing, wouldn't clinching up tire a fighters arms out?
I wish boxing would get more TV coverage. I watch fights on Versus and ESPN/EPSN classic sometimes, but I would really love for boxing to be as popular as it used to be.
I agree.
And Fedor was payed 1 million dollars to fight Matt Lindland in Bodog Fight. How much were boxers getting payed when their sport was still new? Fighters are just starting to get good paydays.
By the way, don't get me wrong. I LOVE boxing and I verbally fuck people up when they come up with an ignorant statement like boxing is dead. But, MMA isn't doing to bad.
