That is why I still feel that if Shane had a shot at Floyd in 2007 or before, he wouldve Knocked Floyd out, if De La Hoya had the same shot, 2005-2006, he wouldve cracked floyd too., Winky Wright @ 154 wouldve given Floyd Fits-but Floyd was still a 147lb fighter when Winky was pushing 154-160.
CHino has heart and Power, but I dont see him hitting harder than Canelo Alvaraz, and if Canelo landed anything significant-Floyd took it well. All this hype about chino having a punchers chance is just promotion for the fight. Floyd will look superior-but I hope Maidana somehow magically pulls out a win. As for Khan, i dont think he has a glass Jaw-He has been hit on the button by big punchers. How many fighters you see that gets hit and does not go down. Khan is alot tougher than he gets credit for - If he tightens up his defense, he will look spectacular.
Morales would have KO'd Hamed if they fought back then. Hamed ran away from the sport, there was the Barerra Rematch that he said he is getting, then there was Morales, Juan Manuel Marquez,etc.
All fighters can be criticised for something here and there... I dont think Khan is a clown, he is a good fighter and will have a good career ahead. Fighters make business decisions all the time, and dont end up giving the fans the fight they want to see. Khan is trained by the same trainer that Andre Ward is trained by, so its very likely they did spar.
After April 12th, it wouldnt matter what happened in the face off - PAC will destroy Bradley. All the Floyd talk..blah...blah...blah. The more I look at it, Floyd is the one who had the power to make that fight happen, and sadly, when the fight meant more than it means today - Floyd would have probably won, but he chose to not fight the slick southpaw.
Khan will suprise all how Dominant he will be vs Collazo-he will make a statement by knocking out, stopping, or impressively winning a unanimous decision
Speed Kills, and Amir is young, hungry and even Freddie Roach says - Amir has the style to beat Floyd Mayweather. I met Amir 5-6 times in the last 6 months, the boy is in serious training and he looks Damn good in training. Not only a fan, but I consider Amir and his Mgr Taz my friends now too. I wish Team Khan all the best.
If Floyd is Guilty - I hope the fight still happens, and I hope Maidana Puts a Beating on him (which is unlikely) but I hope he gets what he deserves -
I agree with most on here, but ironically, that was the round Ortiz seemed to have found something, but then he lost it. It almost looked like it was fixed, even after the sucker punch, Ortiz was way too lovey dovey happy with team Floyd
Bradley wins the first round, Pac wins the second, third round = clash of heads - doctor stops the fight, rules of the bout is fight will go to scorecards - ends up being a draw.....
Khan Defeats Danny Easily. Khan was weak @ 140 because he struggled to make the weight. Even with that in mind, he boxed decent and he was more hurt from the first knock down then when they stopped the fight. If Danny can comfortably make 147, it would be an interesting matchup - But I see Khan winning a close non controversial 12 round unanimous decision.
Floyd is a great fighter, but he is not a likable person. Burning 100 dollar bills during a recession, insulting the man who brought him into boxing (his father) on an episode of 24-7, beating his baby mama in front of his kids. He is just as bad of a person outside of the ring as he is good inside the ring. He needs a but whooping and a humbling experience.
I really wish Maidana upsets Floyd. I am a huge fan of Maidana too - and I hope he wins. FLoyd is not undefeated in my book. Jose Luis Castillo beat him once, De La Hoya won by 1 round in my IMO
Maidana cannot beat ROID Mayweather - Maidana will be knocked out inside 9 rounds. Vicious repeated Body Shots will sleep him. Good Luck Marcos, and i hope you win somehow.
