Haye's right the only reason for the Haye fight not to happen is that they think he's too dangerous. It's the biggest fight available for Joshua.
It is by far the biggest fight for Haye, i dont really see any other options for Haye at this point in his career, and looking for that one last big payday.
There are many reasons not to stick AJ in with Haye, and he has plenty of time to develop and build himself before taking the big fights, lets face it he's earning much more fighting bums than Haye is.
What really annoys me is the style of fighter that has become preferable, especially in US judging.
If there is an even round it should go to the aggressor, effective or not.
I cant see that tying up and hooking to the body and head should even be scored.
Neither did much in many rounds, but at least Kov was scoring clean jabs, and pushing the fight.
This style is ruining the entertainment of the sport.
At least Mayweather was a master of landing clean solid counters, and pot shotting, whilst not getting hit, i didn't see any clean punches coming from Ward.
Wilder has been a pro for 8years ffs and fought only one live opponent that entire time. I would be surprised if he didnt fight Povetkin , as a low risk huge reward fight, but it looks like hes joining the AJ cash out crowd.
I never get CompuBox, I watched that fight and swear david didnt land more than 20 clean punches the whole fight.
Does it count punches on arms and gloves?
Ok great to see him back, and i hope he gets a big payday after this.... but didnt they drop Katie Taylor for being too Irish?? otn the same wkend as conlan?
Also i dont particularly agree with it, but what became of the old adage : you have to rip the titles away from a champion?
In any other country on earth Kov would have got that decision.
Just keep whining and holding your cap out beyonce.
Let wait and see what this amazingly fair counter offer is from shirley.....
Lets face it, AJ will keep building the brand and racking up the 10's million while Beyonce rots in Tacalooser
