What do you guys think of Holyfield vs Briggs? personally Im thinking this is his best chance of ever getting a belt again.
Im actually excited that he is back and doing good:banana:
just saw the fight and damn Holyfield looked great he was quick accurate moved well... but Maddalone fought like a bum,
But still he looked alot better then he did against Bates (I havent seen the Oqeundo fight)
George Foreman, who's career record was 76-5 with 68ko's got lucky that he landed a knockout? Just think about that for a second and this thread answers itself.
hahaha good point!
It wasent luck he outsmarted Moorer, with not giving away his power so Moorer thought he already had tasted George power, thinking to himself "you aint soo bad" then he got brave(or stupid)
and got Ko'd
BTW the punch was perfect! right on the jaw.
Holyfield gained 11 pounds of muscle in 3 months, from his fight with Carlos De Leon he weighed 190 then 3 months later against James Tillis he weighed 202...anybody who has ever lifted weights knows that its not possible to gain 11 pounds of pure muscle in 3 months natural. 11 pounds in a year would even be hard to do natural. So that Holyfield juiced is no question its a fact.
Tyson on the other hand has always been big even when he was 15 he was built like a brick house.
Ridiculous fight card? Every single fight except Roy's ended in a knockout. So what if they aren't big names other then Roy's they made big noise in the ring.
Those two little guys who where fighting right before Roy was fun to watch. I thought first when they came out that this was going to be a boring jab this jab that but they were fucking swingin the leather just flew. Both had been down inside 2 minutes
I have never been able to downlad from megaupload...the download always stops at 90% no matter what size... Im using Firefox could that be the problem?
I was doing my own research into Tyson and found he was working with a new nutrionist/trainer for that fight, I stated it before. I will try to find the person's name. It is quite possible, I don't doubt anything in today's world.
However, we must mention, if Tyson did use steroids, D'amato, Rooney, Jacobs, and Cayton, some of the biggest names in the history of the sport, are partially responisble.
The only comment I ever remember reading about Tyson talking about steroids was when he was asked in an article about James Toney, and Tyson said something like, 'could you imagine if I took steroids, I would be a lethal weapon, they would hang me for that' {something on those lines}. How true the artricle was, I don't know, anything is possible in this world of fake bullshit.
Brian Kenny did once ask Teddy Atlas on ESPN about if he knew any fighter that was on steroids...Atlas replied something like {since you must forgive my bad memory}, I knew {or heard about} a fighter that was taking them, but when he got off them, he wasn't as confident. Now this could be anybody, from the people he knew around the gym, to one of his fighter's opponents (who funny enough is accused at the moment and will not mention any names since that will not be Holy to the sport), to one of his own fighters.
He was working with Chad Nicholls who is a steroid and nutritionist guru in the bodybulding world
