Cotto's got more left in the tank than I realized, hope he leaves TR. And if he stays, he'd fight JCCjr at a CW which Jr would have trouble making. more interesting fights w/ GP.
Margs probably fights JCCjr at some point next year.
Well to answer you question, it's money. Pac is the cash cow, not Bradley. So if Pac doesn't want to do it that's on him. The examples you displayed were based on money as well, these guys weren't going to get a bigger pay day had the fought anyone else at the time.
Matthysse vs Garcia won't happen. GBP would rather work with Top Rank and offer him to Rios. And that says alot. I hope I'm wrong and Lucas gets that fight.
The most realistic fight would be against since the winner of Maidana-Karass since it is a WBA eliminator. So looks like its Paulie-Maidana next, even though HBO said no to this fight before Paulie had the title, pretty sure Showtime picks it up.
I'd rather watch him fight Bradley than see him get the short end of the stick against Pac. Also a fight w/ the winner of Rio-Alvarado would be awesome but I doubt he takes that fight.
Did Bunce just claim Price vs Audley is the first time in the pros that two olympic medalists have met? WTF?! Tell me I misheard that...
He said it would be the first time 2 British Olympics medalist would meet
What happened?
He was willingly stripped of the title so he could fight GGG. N'Jikam was elevated to full status. But I'd still like this fight to happen, i'd be nice to see GGG give him a shot.
If Guerrero continues to fight in this style, it could be. I thought he would box against Berto, but he didn't. What's to say he won't fight Maidana head-on like he did tonight? Chino probably doesn't hit harder than Berto and isn't faster, so I don't see why he wouldn't try and walk him down.
I believe Maidana has more brute strength than Berto. Berto's power really comes from his speed, which Guerrero neutralized for the most part.
Some of guys in this board say that Madiana has no skill, but look at the Aydin fight, he was able to land some hard shots and there's no reason why a more skilled Maidana can't.
No response? That's because Martinez has never had a draw with a 7-34 fighter, and where you found that at is beyond me. And Castillo had lost 4 ( 3 by KO) fights when he went in against Floyd, yet that doesn't stop the majority of people from thinking it was a highway robbery.
Sergio fought the dude in '98, it was Sergio's 3rd bout as a pro and the guy had a 3-6 record.
I'd support it, what he needs to do is move down to JMW for his next fight, fight K9 and win the title. It would make it more enticing if he held a title.
